Wearing the same thing as yesterday. Sitting in the same spot. Using the same koozie. Keeping the T.V. volume at the same level. Ordered an identical pizza and made sure the same guy at Dominos made it again today. No, I'm not superstitious. Keep it up, boys! 4-3 Sioux.

UMD-Providence 0-0 after two. Melrose quickly heads down to the Friars locker room to finish kissing the player's feet.

I am literally being dragged to Bed, Bath, and Beyond this morning to do my wedding registry. I hope that is enough incentive for everyone on this message board to have a beer for me as soon as they read this. Negativity aside, I woke up with a good feeling...and it wasn't that I was going to find the perfect his and her bath towels. LET'S GO!!!! 3-2 Sioux

All of a sudden I have a doctors appointment from 12-2:30 MTN this Friday
I seem to be having a small case of puck fever myself. I am thankful to Budweiser and ESPN for their tireless efforts in coming up with a cure for the weekend.

Although this weekend was a tough pill to swallow, I also found my memory of last year's NCHC tournament being awfully short once UND took control of the regional in Fargo. I am going forward with a positive attitude. This has been such a promising season. That being said, Let's go SIOUX!!!

Pretty sure Walter Matthau had a higher quality picture when he was watching the hockey game in his ice house in "Grumpy Old Men"

Sound now.
Heard the intro just now, but sound quits any time the puck is in play. All I can hear is Billy Idol yelling like a rebel when the whistle blows. Same story for you?

Going to have to change batteries in my goal light if I'm going to make it through this game!

its rough that the games are on cbs sports but that is nationally televised unlike midco sports or Fox Sports Whatever
Just rough for a poor graduate student who doesn't have cable!

This may have already been asked elsewhere, but is this series included in the NCHC TV package purchased at the beginning of the year, or will this cost extra?
This series is included. However, the NCHC Frozen Faceoff, with the exception of the 3rd place game, will be on CBS sports. Don't even get me started on how frustrating it has been to have had so many games picked up CBS sports, which leaves me, a paying NCHC.TV subscriber under the impression I would be able to watch every conference game, stuck at home with no way to watch it other than going out.

As I sit here in Omaha and listen to all the "Red Army" rhetoric, I hope the Sioux can shut these guys up early. 3-2 Sioux

Hey boys, for those of you traveling to Omaha this weekend, have fun. I was there on Saturday for the SCSU game. My notes...
• Weather was great. Everything was walking distance. Good time.
• Stayed at the Marriott Courtyard, also where SCSU was staying. Short walk to multiple bars and the arena.
• Lots of budget hotels on the south side of the arena, but fewer bars.
• D.J.'s Dugout was the place to be pregame. Filled up by 4:30 with a long line by 5:15.
• Dudley's was nice too, but was neither a sports bar nor a dive bar. No niche might hurt them. Friendliest staff in town though! Good folks.
• Pauli's is just a plain old bar. It's small and gets full, but I honestly don't get the appeal. It was full though. Those were the only three places we visited.
• All of the establishments are new, which is fine, but they lack the charm of a small town "bar district". Kinda sterile. Not like a Canal Park or a State Street at all.
• I really like the arena. In a few ways, I liked it better than the REA *ducks*. Tons better than the HBNHC if that makes up for my blasphemy at all. It has a pro feel, unlike the REA which has a well done college feel.
• The whole setup of the area was great. As far as setups go, I like Duluth, Madison, Omaha, and Mankato in that order. Duluth and Madison have the charm. Mankato just lacks the fan support.
That's about it! Hope you have a good time, other than enjoying the results of the game.
The only reason to go to Pauli's would be that is that local Sioux fans in the Omaha area are having a pre-game and watch party there both nights with green beer and a food truck. Starts at 5:30 for both nights.

Schloss just tweeted he is hearing Stecher will be suspended for Friday night's game.

Is the plan to meet up at Pauli's Bar by the Baxter before the game? Also, anyone looking for tickets, www.ticketexpress.com, a local omaha company, still has a bunch of tickets for sale and just reduced their prices significantly. Tickets now $35.00 and I expect to see them to continue to decline in price.
The Ag College weighs in.

The worst part is this clown has generated 4 pages worth of messages on our board. Probably exactly what he wanted. Let's let fools be fools. Hockey anyone?
