First off.... a cross country runner is killed at the beginning of October when she and another girl on a bike were struck by a car.

And now, over the weekend, another girl was hit by a car and killed after leaving her sorority formal. This article also mentions an ex-MSU student who died last month on her birthday after a night of "heavy drinking."

Must be a sad time to be at that school! :D
