NanoBison Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Just thought I'd share a little news with the Grand Forks community since I know many of you use Hector International Airport. If you or relatives are going to be flying out west or from the west coast this summer, look into possibly using Delta out of Fargo to do so. Delta is looking at expanding it's base out of Fargo to include Atlanta and Cincinnati, if the daily ridership out to Salt Lake City is high enough. This would open up two great ways to get out to the East Coast for many in Eastern North Dakota, instead of going through NWA. It may actually drive ticket prices down eventually at both Hector and Grand Forks. This is a win-win for Eastern North Dakota, where NWA pretty much controls all flights east of the Mississippi (other than United's small share out of Fargo). Here's the Article : Consultant works on more Delta service for Fargo O.K. you can now start blasting away... Quote
