WildSioux
Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet. But thought it may interest some of you This one is from the DM register which doesn't say much. http://www.dmregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar...1/60705008/1003 But this one is from the DM Buccaneer website with a lot more info. http://www.bucshockey.com/06_07/0607pressr...s/07_05_06.html "The College Hockey America conference is indeed proud and pleased to join with Blackbeard Management/Des Moines Buccaneers in bringing NCAA Division I championship hockey to Des Moines and the Hawkeye State," stated CHA Commissioner R.H. "Bob" Peters. Because the winning team advances to the 16 team NCAA Division I championships, hockey fans can expect to witness outstanding, competitive, fast paced collegiate hockey."The CHA is co-hosting the 2007 Frozen Four at the Savvis Center in St. Louis, Mo., with the St. Louis Sports Commission. Wookie#12
I was at the CHA title game this past year in Detroit, between Bemidji and Niagara. The CHA plays good hockey, but not great hockey. If we're lucky Wayne State can do the CHA proud and ruin the gophers opening weekend. I've seen Wayne go into Munn at Michigan State and win in overtime. It was great! About two dozen Wayne State fans made it to the game, and the rest of the 6,000+ were dead silent. I was the only person with a Wayne State jersey on that night, and it was great walking out of there.
