One advantage the rest of us Dakotas have is we get to play NDSU each year, as the 360 guys have mentioned a few times. I think if MSU had played NDSU annually for the past 4 years they would have had a better chance to win tonight and would have started out stronger in today's game as they would be more familiar with them. You can watch all the game film you want but until you go up against it you really don't know.
We may not be deep playoff contenders right away next year(although I tbink we have a cjsnce to surprise) but we can do our part by upsetting them in Grand Forks next year to try and help get NDSU pushed out of the top two seeds.
I would love if someone outside of the Dakotas and Montana stepped up their game. It was better and felt less watered down when JMU etc. were FCS. Although even then it typically seemed like it was really ever only a two or three horse race. We need to be one or those horses going forward.
MSU lost to NDSU last year in the playoffs and the title game a few years ago. That's 3/5......

USD beat NDSU in fargo a few years ago and didn't move to #1...everyone calm down, the polls will work themselves out with more W's.

The fact that UND had a couple of recruits( Grady and Bennett) pick UND over NDSU seems to have hit a nerve with a lot of Bison fans. They have had a lot of conversation at BV about that. They just can't imagine that could happen. There just has to be reasons to explain how that could possibly happen. When the dust settles they will be saying they had pulled their offer to them. Some of of them are basically trying to downplay the ability of Grady and the competition he played against. A couple are showing some respect for Grady though.
You are correct the sky is the limit. However the Big Sky is not the limit for sure. His playing time in the Big Sky is going to be fun to watch.
And....Nodak78 has Grady in the NFL already. Weird how different fan bases would have different perspectives about a young man before he has played a snap of college football.
