  1. As for the game, if your defense is fast, look forward to alot of holding from the GVSU o-line. True, GVSU got flagged quite a few times for holding, but they got away with quite a few more. Their QB is not that impressive of a passer, but he can scramble mainly between the tackles. Their RB is hard to bring down if you don't wrap him, he'll slip out of a tackle when you think you have them. Their d-line is fast and why our coaching staff didn't balance out early, I don't know. They can move east to west on the field as well as bring on the pressure in passing situations. Their secondary has given up yards, so if you have a decent passing attack, I hope your staff uses it. Go UND!
  2. Judging from my posting over there last week when we had our "game' with GVSU, they don't take to kindly to criticism. Some of them scolded our coaching staff and players for "not giving them enough credit" in the newspaper after their victory. Never mind that some of the players gave props to Grand Valley and then said that part of the reason we played so poorly was because of bad tackling and penalties at the wrong time. For some reason these fans thought it was all their talent that did us in. No, that is not the case. Quite frankly I was going to root for GVSU, but I think it is time for a reallity check. So go UND!
  3. I think we both can say those teams that UNA and TAMUK had were possibly one of the best in each schools history. Quite a few Javelinas that played in that game found themselves as starters on NFL rosters in the years follwoing that. I know UNA had a few too.
  4. It would have made a difference because he ran the option with ease. The backup did a good job, but he wasn't as good on the option.
  5. That happen to us with our starting QB the Friday before the championship game against UNA in 1994 and we lost 16-10. No doubt if he would have kept himself clean and played , the outcome would have been different.
  6. It will stay in the 90's with humidity levels in 70's in the evenings down here in August and September. Can you imagine playing during the day when the sun is fum throtle? That's why we would enjoy playing you guys in late August or Early Septemeber.
  7. UNA 27 UND24 Only because UNA is on a roll right now. If you can do what you did to Davis in 2001 with their high rated QB, then you will win. A UND win would not shock me, so Go Sioux! I rather the Hogs play someone else instead of UNA with a huge home field advantage in the Championship. TAMUK 24, GVSU 17 This is only if the Hogs have some turnovers (knock on wood) which we haven't had any during the playoffs. The Hogs will win by a larger margin if we play ball control and no turnovers
  8. What about TAMUK? UND and TAMUK would be a great home and home series. We have an opening for the last week of August.

    UNA

Watch it UNA! There is more to that story about the fight, so quit posting misinformation. The NCAA saw no need for additional punishment and it was the sorry GSC officials that threw out the wrong guys and refused to throw out the right ones from UCO that started the fight. About thugs and clean programs. Don't throw stones at your glass house, it will break!
