Does anyone know who the officials are? I thought the announcer said they were from the WCHA but I didn't hear a name and they don't have them on their shirts.

By my count, the Sioux are 18-8-4 (excluding the Manitoba exhibition game) when scoring 2 or more goals, regardless of who scores them. Another interesting stat is that UND's wins have all come in games when they have scored 2 or more goals. They are 0-5-1 when scoring less than two goals.

TH made it sound like it was a good call. Parise went behind the net to play the puck, missed it, and had to grab the player to keep him from getting to the puck cleanly.

Winona and Auggie can play SDSU becuse they probably won't get a home playoff game anyway. Auggie doesn't even stand a chance to get to the playoffs period.

Coach Schweigert can be very serious when he needs to be. I just think he is comfortable in his position as defensive coordinator. Plus it would be a big loss to the football program if he left.

I agree that the game should have been televised throughout the state. And no, it didn't hurt the attendance in 2001. But our attendance numbers have been down all year. Even the bigger games like SCSU and UNO had poor crowds. The NDSU game is the only game that has been full. There is no reason that we shouldn't have a sellout crowd for every game. In 2001 we averaged about 10,000 people per game. This year I think we were only over 10,000 once, maybe twice.

There were many people that didn't want the game televised in order to boost the attendance. I'm sure this game will be on tv, but we still need people to show up. This team has given no reasons for people not to attend the home games. They have not lost at home and have provided many exciting games.
So despite the fact that the game will probably be televised, we need to have a sold-out game to show the team our support.
