That to me is an arrogant statement from Scott Hamilton, but I'm not surprised Gopher fans believe they are entitled and Gods gift to hockey, and every national title should just be given to them before the season starts.

I thought everybody wanted to play in the Big 10? LOL By the way does anyone know now that they have a league for hockey what will become of the Rodents and FSN? Big 10 network does not really cover hockey at all.
He signed his letter of intent already so OSU wouldn't release him if he was going to go to a Big 10 school.

Not one thing in there I wasn't serious about and its the truth. You people that want Hak gone are crazy, go ask anyone around the country and they will tell you he is a top 10 and probably top 5 coach in the country.

I would recommend against this actually. The reason is that once they're kicked out of someone's seats by that time there wont be much more to choose from if any in the standing room. There wont be empty seats in the arena once we're ten minutes into the game. I would get there early, find the best standing room spot you can and don't move.
My thinking too. Get to the rink early and grab a good spot to stand. Not worth getting kicked out of seats and then having to stand 3 people deep in the standing room only area.

There is no way Gothberg will go to Canada. Jeff Frazee didn't go to Canada either he signed a pro deal.

I know that article is recent however I read the exact same article from a different source a while back. Schmaltz is coming for sure....as for his brother, who knows. I have seen his brother play and he is very, very good for his age. I am thinking he may bounce to the CHL when he is 16 (eligible), I hope I'm wrong though.
The first half of the article I thought was old but some of the stuff on the bottom I hadn't seen before.

Remember, your watching the best CHL teams play in a playoff setting.
Don't compare it to a regular season AA vs MSM game or USHL game.
Most of the hockey I watched at the end of the year was playoff settting. I seen Portland play a regular season game 2 years ago and my thoughts were wow this team would destroy Fargo. CHL is a step above the USHL for sure. CHL vs NCAA would depend on the teams playing.

Wathced the entire tournament....some good fast paced and physical hockey, very fun to watch. I can tell you this, I've seen the Gamblers of the USHL play this year and they would have been soundly beaten by any of the teams in this tournament. I can also comfortably say, however, that Boston College would have fared well against any of these teams.
^ My thoughts too. After watching this tournament I really liked the chl style of play.
