  1. For those that reside in this part of the country...

Join us on Saturday October 1st as your University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Football team takes on Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT.

We will begin tailgating in the South parking lot (off 200 South and 800 West) around 11 am. We'll continue on until game time at 1 pm.

General admission tickets (seating on the east side of the stadium) are available on line through the SUU webs...ite or at the box office for $7.00.

BYOB and food - sorry, this year we will not be grilling hot dogs.

We will have some great UND give-aways!

Get a group rate room at the Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites

    1575 West 200 North

    Cedar City, UT 84720

    1-888-787-6661

Ask for the "Alumni of North Dakota" rate.

Plan on joining us in the on-site bar at the Crystal Inn after the football game for some Sioux hockey! They should be able to get (but could not guarentee) the UND vs. Regina hockey game on TV that night. There is an adjoining meeting room that has a television for our Sioux fans under 21 years old.

Contact Leanne Norman with any questions.

  2. Yeah, looks like they are digging into the web streaming problem, here's from the live chat -

Jayson, UND SID: Sorry web viewers --- we are working on the problem. Hopefully it won't be long.

Glad they checked it out before the game started ???

    update -

Matt, FightingSioux.com: It was streaming via a wireless connection, but should be good to go now

  3. Sorry this is my first post, have been reading them for a few years to keep up on things since I live out of state and had to reply to this article.

I'm pretty sure I'm in the bucket of "out-of-state students" that receives in-state tuition rates (because I am a Veteran). I am taking DEDP classes and UND and am being charged extra fees to be able to take them on-line at the rate of $170 per credit hour. I am taking just one 3 credit class this semester and my total bill is over $1400. So don't tell me that I'm ripping off North Dakota taxpayers.

If North Dakota doesn't want my money, so be it (well, my employers money, they only cover up to $6000 per year ;) ). I can get a degree somewhere else at a lot less cost but I would rather graduate from my hometown college.
