Congratulations to Miele. Frattin is still the best in my opinion though.
And for the record, Sioux fans at the ceremony gave Miele a standing ovation. No boos at all.
Yes the fans at the ceremony were very classy (mostly sioux fans by the looks of it).

Are you talking about the showcase? If you are they have adopted a new process this year which was that in order to try out for Team ND you had be invited to try out. Not sure if this is what is being talked about or not?

I'm guessing it wasn't awarded yet b/c Denver still has a shot at a share of the title, not likely though, if they sweep and UND gets swept.

Anybody know if the Minot vs. West Fargo game is streaming on the net anywhere? I know 1390 or 910 will probably have it but I don't think you can listen to them online.

RR 3-1 over J-town after one. Sounds like J-town almost had it tied in the last minute then RR goes down and scores with 8 seconds left in period. Ouch

According to a few sources, some GFRR players were cought smoking pot. THey will not be playing this weekend. IDK what ids are thinking these days showin up to school functions "high"
That could hurt their chances at a title but they will still roll over J-Town.

Anyone know what radio stations carry the games. I'm guessing there will be a GF station carrying the 2 GF games, I doubt any Bismarck or Fargo station will carry anything. I think 1390 or 910 will carry the Minot game and I'm sure Grafton will get some coverage from their home station. Anyone know what the GF stations are though?

Couple interesting matchups.
Century and Central probably the game of the day, If central gets alot of quality shot they will expose Century's goaltending, he has not really been challenged this year but does have good stats. Century has a great first line and some nice defense but I don't know if they will contain the Johnson line.i got Central 5-3 with a empty netter.
BHS and G/PR is another interesting matchup . BHS beat them earlier in the year but I think they will see a different Grafton team. G/PR 5-1. BHS could stay in it if they get goaltending but I don't see it happening.
RR and J-town. I'm afraid this one is going to be ugly. RR 9-1.
Minot and West Fargo. Best goalie in the state against one of the highest scoring teams. Meddler can steal games for Minot but I think WF is too much. WF 4-2. Outshooting Minot badly.
I hope I am wrong being a fan of the west but I think the east is just better this year. I guess we will see.

Keaton Thompson was added to the Force team today. He will join after the High School season is done.
This kid is a real nice hockey player with bright future in front of him. I saw him play and was real impressed, he totally controlled the game when he was on the ice. He sees the ice well, is big, good shot and he will only get better.

If I heard correctly:
GFC will lose #7 Luke Johnson & #16 Jared Sorlien and RR will lose #19 Alan Zahui and one of the Bernhardson boys on defense (didn't hear which).
They will be out for their next games, both Thursday. RR is at home against Fargo North and Central heads down to play Wahp/Breck.
That shouldn't hurt Central since they r playing Whap/Breck, but Zahui could hurt although I was not real impressed with him. North is playing good hockey right now. It may be a interesting game.

Since my step dad is from Botno I have been following them on the site but has anyone seen them play this year. I see they put up tons of points. Are they legit or the west that weak.
I think they are legit. They are struggling with some sick kids and injuries right now so hopefully they will be ready tournament time. Watched them on Saturday against Bismarck Century and they were terrible. Probably the worst I have seen them all year. Who is your step dad, I probably know him?
Went to the RR vs, Central game tonight. RR was by far the better team. Nice little scrum at the end of the game too. Anybody know if they called any majors at the end? I believe the rule says 1 punch is a fight, so its a possibility.

I am a Sioux fan and always will be a Sioux fan. I just felt his boooo comment was completely douchey. We are already referred to as the worst fans in hockey. Please don't make it any worse than it already is with stupid, ignorant comments whether it was a joke or not.
