  1. So lets go to the more important calls. Obvious cfb's by Huskies, 1 Friday, 1 Saturday, not called. Obvious cfb on the Sioux, called. Only Adam can make this stuff up as he goes, and when the Sioux are involved, it favors the opponent, 100% of the time.

Every fan says they get screwed 100% of the time. They can't all be right. It happens both ways, just not every night or week end.
  2. More rumors and shame and blame directed at our players.

But, I'm a loser and don't deserve to be a fan. OK, got it. :silly::lol:

Wow, thought I would check out the forum after the game. More whining than gopher fans. Just a couple of points from a different viewpoint. I also think officiating is bad in the WCHA, always has been, probably the nature of the game, but I do think they are evenly bad to all teams. Last nights games no different, the trip and dive call was as bad as the friday night crosscheck and dive on Morley. I hate dive calls, too subjective. By the way, Adam did not call the dive in question last night, he called the trip but the other blind guy called the dive. Happened right in front of me, also the earlier trip right in front of Adam on a SCSU player, that was somehow not called. Adam actually went right over to Motzko as play stopped to somehow explain, can't wait to hear that one. I thought UND played better Fri. night and SCSU played better last night. Passit must be a new fan because he certainly doesn't seem to understand the game. Just my opinion.
  3. This is typical WCHA. Screw up the Genoway suspension, suspend Lammy for nothing, and do a complete makeup call to suspend Marvin for 3 games. The Wisconsin hit didn't come close to warranting a 3 game suspension.

It should have been a two game suspension for the Genoway hit. The refs should have been told going into the UND/SCSU series to let them go if they square up and drop the gloves in a fair fight. Both players should have then been given the usual 5, DQ, and sit a game. The Wisconsin hit should have been either a 2 or 5 with nothing else.

The WCHA is making this much more difficult than it should be.

    Finally a voice of reason.

  4. Huskie-

Do you go to St Cloud State for school? Or have you ever? Or are you just a hockey fan?

Because if the answer is yes to the first 2 questions, I suggest you go back and take or re-take Philosophy 194. They teach you ALL about logical reasoning, which is clearly something you lack at this current state.

How do you get logical reasoning out of my posting a quote by a different person?

  5. Huskie-

Do you go to St Cloud State for school? Or have you ever? Or are you just a hockey fan?

I couldn't get into SCSU because of the academic requirements. See first sentence. I guess I'm just a hockey fan.

  6. Like I said earlier in this thread.... Let him go back to hiding under his rock....(with his buddy Patrick. I just hope he can get that pink starfish to believe him!)

    FYI,

Senior center and tri-captain Blake Geoffrion took a step toward returning to the University of Wisconsin men

  7. I think I have made my point which none of you will ever agree with because of our different views. Call me whatever you want, deny the obvious, lump me with whomever you want, I don't care. Be as arrogant as you want, only the gophers surpass you. Yes I still hate the gophers more than I used to respect the Sioux. Congratulations, you did change my mind. Arrogance is not reserved for the maroon and gold, the green and black are as blind as any. Get into your little green huddle, surround yourselves with common thinkers, believe its us against the world and don't let anyone convince you otherwise, close your eyes and sing cum bye ya. And be happy. Good luck in your little world. Bye......

  8. Then you sure as heck ought to be pleased the WCHA is finally cracking down on hits to the head.

Do you even read your own posts?

Evidently I need to read them to you. I have never said I am in favor to hits to the head. On the contrary, I agree with the rule. Its the uneven calls and difficulty in determining intent. Marvin should have been called for hitting from behind on Genoway. He was. He was penalized and should have sat a game OR two. My beef is with the call on Marvin in Wisconsin, it was a shoulder to the head but certainly difficult to measure intent when both players are moving at a high rate of speed. Probably should have been a roughing penalty but no more than a 5 minute. But a 3 game suspension, thats where I differ. McLeod admitted the hit on Genoway influenced his decision. Again wrong in my opinion. My concern is as I have stated, if every hit to the head, whether intentional or not, wether intent to injure or not, whether in the speed of battle or not, leads to suspensions. The game will become too sissy for me.
  9. Names and causes please, as I provided in UND's case. Thank you. And please remember to stay this side of Jan 1, 2005, in your data.

    I'm waiting.

First of all I could care less of your 2005 date, its somehow meaningful to you but not to anyone else. Must be your high school GED date or maybe when you entered into puberty. You want names, We lost Brett Lievers in the 90's after getting hit from behind and receiving a concussion. We lost Marc Gagnon to a broken foot after a tripping penalty. We lost this year Sam Zabkowicz numerous games due to an concussion from a hit to the head. We lost Travis Novak a couple of games this year due to a concussion by a hit to the head. Mark Parrish was cross checked from behind and missed games with a neck injury. Und has no monopoly on injuries. These are just a few I remember and no I will not go back and check archives. Smartass!!

  10. Go back and watch the video it wasn't a elbow. Moron!

Nice reply Goon, good to see you haven't changed, still don't know hockey. So you don't see Blood skating while looking back at Marvin and spring back with the elbow as Marvin comes in? You don't see the hit to the head? You don't see the classless taunt after Marvin is down? and I'M the moron??? :):)

  11. The video clearly shows that Marvin put his shoulder in between Bloods shoulder. It's impossible to elbow someone when they are behind you like that.

In fact rather than being a dirty hit by Blood, it was another dirty, intent to injure check by Marvin. If Blood hadn't been ready Marvin would have possibly injured him with another check from behind right in front of the board.

The video is clear. I can't help it that the ability to understand video appears to be correlated with the ability of one's team to win a NCAA tournament game.

    Clearly shows, yea right.

  12. Let's add Evan Trupp to that list in Duluth a few years back. I believe it was a knee to knee hit. Incidentally, Chay Genoway was also out of action for a bit from a check from behind in that series but was able to return by the national tournament, maybe a little earlier.

Oh the poor Sioux players that missed time because of injuries. EVERY team can name players that lost games or seasons due to injuries. Proves nothing except its a rough sport. We have had careers ended due to injuries by illegal hits. Get over it, if you want this to turn into a pussy league keep whining. Nobody likes hits to the head except evidently Sioux fans in retaliation. Doesn't surprise me, I don't see anybody complaining about the elbow to the head of Marvin by Blood in the corner.

  13. Mike is a major douc#e bag, he was crying a couple weeks ago about UND being a bunch of goons. If you want a front seat into stupidity read the comments on this article [click to read] They don't get the point about hits to the head.

As I said at the beginning, UND will be looking at alot of suspensions in the future if the WCHA continues to suspend players for hits like Marvin did in Wisc. There were probably 3 hits by UND alone in the last SCSU game that would warrent a suspension. Be careful what you ask for. Numerous UND players went after Marvin and most by hits to his head. Was that OK? So are you saying hits to the head are ok if in retaliation? I don't want any intentional hits to the head, but how about some consistancy??

  14. yes that is about it!!!!!!man they are desperate

I shouldn't have to point out they said "BUILDING" a dynasty. Sounds like you are getting desperate for put downs. You might as well go back to the very innovative JBSU, no NCAA wins, etc. etc.. They hurt us so bad.

  15. I was thinking the same thing and since the refs aren't calling the obstrution and hooking and holding I think the Sioux will and should check these guys relentless and hard. I would have Kaip or Fabian in Nodl's and gordon's kitchen all game long. It players like this that makes me miss Prpich.

You'd better hope that Albers isn't officiating the game, he called ALL obstruction, hooking, slashing, and tripping even if it didn't actually happen. Our games with Mankato were terrible just because of the constant picky calls. As far as I am concerned, bring back the days of real hockey!! ;)

  16. Congrats Sioux team and fans for a great run. As a SCSU Huskie fan I can only hope we will have the same kind of success in the coming years. See you later this year.....when......I will hate you again.....but until then, have a great off season!! ;)

  17. Maybe you meant "one name" instead of "one word."

    Or maybe two words then?

Do they not teach basic counting in St. Cloud? :D

I couldn't get into SCSU, too high acadenic standards, but i did stay at a Holiday Inn Express, once, or was it twice?? :D
