I signed up for Sioux Forum about a week ago but I didn't get my sign in till Saturday. Game Day.
A few comments on the game from someone who was there for the whole thing.
1) The visiting North Dakota fans were gracious and a very interesting crowd. (My ex-wife who graduated from UND in 82' was tailgating with the Lumberjacks and UND fans)
2) SFA has been down for about 4 years but has recruited well the past two years and was bound to form into a decent team. You just caught us on the way up, unlike NDSU which was fortunate to catch us on the down slide.
3) The speed of the game seemed to just get away from UND. SFA ran so many different set's! UND probably had not seen this other than Texas Tech which doesn't run the ball as well as we do.
4) The UND offense was creative at times and kept you in the game.
Best of luck in the future. Maybe we will play a return game in Grand Forks.
