  1. Pat Sweeney replied to another one of my emails a few weeks ago in regards to the penalty time on their broadcast. Can someone more educated in the television business explain to me why we are one of the last groups to be able to put the running penalty time on the screen? Considering Sioux games are now broadcast across the country, it's unfortunate that we are not further ahead with technology.

  2. The NDSHAA is all about money. They owuldnt make that much money out west as they do in GF. GF is a hockey town. THe west is BBALL/Wrestling/Hockey towns. GF lives and dies by hockey. Mor often then not the casual observer would walk in to the ralph to see a high school hockey game then walk in to the better to see the UND mens/womens play. I guearentee you that the hockey games tomorrow have more poeple at it then the sioux mens/womens ball games.

3 times in the pastten years the attendance has been over 5000. Is there arenas out there that can hold that many? If you ask most of th kds they woudl say the gal s to play in on of the best hockey facilities in NA in one that the #1 rated hockey team in the USA skates in.

I agree with you, but I also enjoy spell check. ;) (Just giving you crap)

  3. Anyone else besides YaneA going to the game? I'm interested to know what Sioux fans think of the arena. Obviously it's no marble palace like the Ralph but it will be nice to hear opposing fans's opinions.

I'll be there in the 13th row behind the net. I was lucky enough to get 5 tickets when they went on sale on ticketmaster. Should be a great time if the weather allows us to drive up from the cities.

  4. I always love crashing the Nitty Gritty a block a way from the Kohl Center decked out in all green, its a great time!

I'm not sure of any Sioux hot spots. We'll be at the Nitty Gritty Bar near the Kohl Center and the Great Dane Pub/Brewery near the capital.

  5. Is there any Sioux hot spots in Madison? How about fun bars in general? Looking forward to a fun trip and with a home football game there on Saturday I am betting it will be pretty wild.

I'm not sure of any Sioux hot spots. We are heading out there this weekend and were told to go to the Nitty Gritty Bar near the Kohl Center and the Great Dane Pub/Brewery near the capital.
