    Cornell is another team like UAA and UMD, big and defensive (with a better goalie). The Sioux have shown in the last four games that they have trouble with that type of team.

    I guess we should be hoping for a split. Although really we absolutely need a sweep for the PWR (if we are even interested in making the NCAA...although with a sub-.500 record, that won't be possible).

    And CC couldn't even beat UAA last night either. I think that this year it is looking like a runaway UMN win for the MacNaughton, unless they tank hard.

    Let 'em have it!...That dog wont hunt...now...but ..its not like the Final 5 is a home series right?....RIGHT?

    I think honestly the Fighting Sioux are pretty close to getting it together. The Sioux are almost there. I look around the NCAA right now and this is the most parity I have ever seen in college hockey. The CCHA is god awful. The other night Jerry York and Jack Parker were on NESN between periods of the Bruins game and York and Parker were talking up the Hockey East and since the two coaches made their appearance BU is 0-2 and B.C. split this weekend. My point is this hockey season is wide open anyone can win and it won't probably be anyone we expect.

    So...you think we are ...." on the verge".....Maybe...but I'm getting worried.

    You know the Sioux are not getting it done when they continually try to rely on the long pass--and not in just the last 5 minutes. It also seemes like they haven't discovered yet how to make that last setup pass off the cycle.

    It's early, but this one hurt.

    its not that early anymore.......look at the standings.......we look like hell. Are the sioux mankato? or are we calling this a re-building year?

    At this point, people? We.....and by WE I mean Hak and the boys, are going to have to play hard for 5th in the WCHA for a home series, get to the Final 5, and hope for the best.......This is NOT a frozen 4 club........My question is....It is NOT talent.....Is it TEAMWORK, or COACHING? I hate to second guess Hak ( I have done this before and been embarrased...) but..... I dont know.....anyone?

    One of the problems as I see it is that we have two sub-par recruiting classes (sophs & juniors). We need to go out and get some studs so we can beat the likes of Alaska Anchorage and Minnesota Duluth. Come on coaches - pick up the pace. Also, it seems like we don't hit anyone anymore. What I've seen this year is a long way from Sioux hockey.

    We play to the competition obviously. The Dogs are not bad, but we have WAY more talent, and we play down. The Sioux should have had the first goal when Kozek shot instaead of passed on a 2 on 1..(PER 1)...The kid has talent, but he cant keep playiing like such a meathead......Different game if we are up 1-0 at that point.
