No need to fret. I just thought it was weird that they needed only had to pass 10 credits to play a year, I wasn't bashing the kid, I just thought that wasn't a very high goal.....

BisonDan.....best in the nation? You played Oral Roberts which can probably only be considered the "best in the nation" that the Bison competed against. Maybe if the bison played agianst UNC or Kansas or Louisville you could have an argument. Also many great players come from junior colleges (Jerome Beasley). You have to come up with a better argument as to why Mertens went to UND instead of NDSU....

I'm wondering how this situation would be handled if it was a super-star athlete from the football or hockey team. I suggest that you stop trying to make it to seem that the victim is guilty. It lets your inner ignorance shine

Maybe this situation had to do with the time the team arrived back to Grand Forks. Starting a party(or whatever it was) at four in the morning might be an indication why this happened. Also do we know if it was a party? My roomates and I got a loud noise violation because our neighbors could hear our TV.

We need a dominate post and a dominate guard or forward that can PASS the ball to the post. I think the team forgot one of the fundamentals of basketball and that is PASSING.

They also drive me nuts with that kind of mentality. I hope he makes it to class this time around, if not maybe he will find a new school with better style of play

No, not at all. I just find them totally unprofessional, lame, and a mockery of journalism. But this really shouldn't be a surprise to me considering GF is also home to the famous Heraldo. I know GF is a small market, but come on.
I totally agree. Was it necessary to show their mugshots? No...it wasn't, this isn't Hollywood. Everyone is taking this to an extreme. Disorderly conduct could be anything, and I'm sure most of us are guilty of it some point in our lives...
