I think that alot of the speculation surrounding this very unfortunate incident is partially fueled by disappointment and a bit of anger.
The simple fact is, no matter how it happened, our favorite hockey team is down a very significant player. In a year that we have the team talent that could possibly be the best in the nation at the end of the year, to have this happen really SUCKS!!!!
My hope is that Danny recovers with no lasting effects and he can continue on with his hockey career.

If I remember correctly, didn't they initially list some of last year's first round games (including UND vs. UNH) on espn360.com, but ended up airing it live on another ESPN channel (ESPN2 or maybe an alternate channel)?
I find it hard to believe that ESPN won't find a way to do a live broadcast of the regional that Boston College is playing in.

I just watched the selection show after Church. A couple observations. I like Barry Melrose covering the NHL, but he doesn't know college hockey. The tip off was when he said we had to win to get in the tournament. Get someone who knows college hockey please.
I'm also laughing that we play Yale who's ranked 21st in the KRACH and has played the 40th hardest schedule.
For those of us that don't like seeing BC again in the tournament you have to admit they gave us a game we should win. (meaning Yale)
I was wondering if I heard that right?...He did say that....At least he was smart enough to have the Sioux advancing to Detroit...

I have a ton of patches, but the Frozen Four ones I generally only have a couple of (except the Milwaukee ones), and would like to hang onto them if possible. I'll see what I have that I'll sell and get back to you through PM.

Haha, that ain't even all of them. I have a game-worn Bina swift, game-worn green Watkins, a white authentic (not game-worn) LaPoint, black authentic (not game-worn) Smaby, white 87 replica that's blank (might sell this too), a USA swift that I want Oshie's name/number on, a K1 brand white dazzle that I used for autographs once a few years ago, a blue Sioux practice jersey, a bag full of about 60 or so patches (Frozen Fours, UND125's, game-used numbers/nampelates, current Sioux crests, and others) four golf bags full of clubs/hockey sticks, and 27 Air Jordans still in the boxes that I bought in high school, among a few other random things.
There are a bunch of people who have collections I can't come close to though, so what I have isn't even much compared to them.
I would really be interested in some patches if you have any others that you want to get rid of, I'll take one of the frozen four that you have advertized if you have any left

I'm going to let everyone on SS decide for me if I should go to the game tonight. Here's my situation: I am in the Cities right now after just getting back from vacation. I have a final to take tomorrow morning so I'm thinking I should go home and study for that. However, I would LOVE to go to the Sioux game tonight. So what should I do?! (I feel like I know the answer already lol)
I was faced with the same decision in 1997, I went to the game, took the test, earned a solid C and have no regrets, GO TO THE GAME! now I'm a family man and living on the other side of the State. Oh to thave the problems of college again!

Hello, I could really use at least three tickets for the Saturday St. Cloud game at UND (December 13th). I don't really care where they are at as long as they are together. I'm making the trip accross the state with my 4 year old daughter for her First trip to the Ralph. I would buy as many as 5, the other 2 don't really need to be by the other three. Well, now that that is as clear as mud I hope you can help me out. I was able to get 5 seats together for friday via ticket master.

Long time listener first time poster, I just purchased great seats off of ebay row 1 sec 222 right along the rail. Great place for a sign. There have been some great ideas posted, Would I be "That Guy" if I used some of the ideas, or can I use one?

I’ve been a member of this forum for a very long time. I’ve been very content to read and not post. But...I’ve had enough. Give the Ralph back...to the students. Make it a hockey venue, not a social place to be scene. I get the opportunity to go to one series per year and I’ve seen the decline in enthusiasm over the past ten years big time! I remember the old Ralph, before UND Hockey was a social place, for the wealthy trophy wife/husband to show off their most recent game warn sweater.... lets get back to grass tacks, Let the students go!!!!
