According to Wayne Nelson, she's done for the year.
Torn ACL, MCL, LCL, and meniscus...and she was wearing a brace on that knee.

Guinn scores 1,000th point, UND topples Sioux Falls 108-44Attendance was 1596. Not bad for a middle of the week game against a lower division team.
Rumor going around that Privratsky blew out her knee again. Anyone have some insight?
-
I don't know about knee injuries, but does anyone know what sarcasm means??
Actually, as a female athlete, I thought the explanations were great and very informative. Thank you

I agree, I also believe she was very disingenuous about how she handled the resignation so late, so UND had no other choice but to appoint her sister as interm Coach....
Very Unprofessional (imo)
Anyone know how things are looking? What is the lineup going to look like? Will any of the Freshman see some time?

My mistake--it was actually Jordan Mertens who I was looking at in the box score from Wednesday's game. In my defense, there are lot of Jordan's and Mertens playing ball in North Dakota these days, and it's hard not to mix some of them up. I guess neither Allard nor May played.
Neither played due to training violations.

FYI-HIPAA is the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. It covers health info-not grades-but I know what you meant.
I think you meant FERPA

I'm not to worried about their struggles early. If anything it will prepare them a little more for close games in the NCC and postseason. After all they are still unbeated.
It seems like Whitney Ledger got more playing time as a freshman...is she still feeling the effects of the back injury or what is the story there?

Nice article about Whitney Ledger in the Bismark Tribune..

The starting lineup for tonight's exhibition game (won handily by the Sioux, as expected) was Langen, Kimbrough, Beck, Guinn and Seay. Guinn was actually running the point, which was a surprise to me. I thought she did a pretty good job, although how she will do against quick point guards who can put a lot of pressure on the ball remains to be seen. Bagaason and LaFrance were in street clothes--not sure whether they were sick or injured or what.
I am surprised that Seay started over Jossy

Aaron Dufault, the 6'8" forward out of Killdeer, has committed to Colorado. He had narrowed his options down to Colorado, Arizona State and NDSU. UND had courted him for a long time but he really had a good summer of AAU ball and, all of a sudden, everyone was after him!
He is talented but may have some problems defensively. While I sure like to see ND kids do well, if he doesn't make it at Colorado, UND may have a chance to get him in a year or two.
His name is Austin

Ryan Chappell was named offensive player of the week earlier this week for the NCC. He has now been named offensive co-player of the week for D2.
Chappell earns national honors, UND ranked No. 2
If they both went undefeated I think that team ranked higher would host.
