  1. My feeds, both audio and video, will play for 5-10 seconds and then start buffering. Anyone know what I should do. My internet connection says "excellent." This is frustrating!

Is this a premium event on fighting sioux site. I can't get any audio. Help

  2. Just got back from Denver late last night. I agree the Sioux were very disapointing to watch. I can deal with a loss. The fact is they got outplayed. It just wasn't there night. They will be back and everyone that is bashing this team now will be praising them in March and April next year. The biggest deal to me was I have never seen a Sioux team play with such low energy (Altitude?) Pride, Honor, Courage?? Didn't see it. I have never seen a sioux game where there was not one solid clean body check. Why didn't someone throw a good check? That always seems to fire up the boys. If we lose at least the winning team would know they played in a hockey game. I remember the days when all four lines would finish there checks. We stayed for the championship game and it was very quiet in the Pepsi Center. It was more like a scrimmage in the first period. I know if the sioux were playing it would have been like a pary in there. It was funny to see the sioux fans at the championship game starting cheers yelling "GO" and pointing to the Irish section and they would yell back"IRISH". The Notre Dame fans had to think that was pretty cool. As far as the Chorney check it looked like a penalty to me for sure. Why didn't someone let that BC player know that they weren't happy with that check on Chorney and put that guys face in the glass (Radke). There I think I feel better now. When's that Manitoba game scrimmage in October next year, can't wait. Go Sioux

  3. I feel like a five year old on Christmas Eve!!

I can't seem to stay off the internet. SiouxSports.com is burned into my retina!! I've visited every online source selling tickets. I've been on the phone with Siouxmama about 20 times in two hours. Maybe I should just go to bed and set the alarm for Wednesday!!

I hear ya. My wife thinks I need a therapist. Can't wait to get to Denver!

  4. Does everyone remember Finley's quote last year when he finally decided to come back to UND. "Quite frankly I came here to win a national championship" You gotta love it. Sioux will rock. Can't wait for the puck to drop!!

  5. I tell you what . . . I'm getting a little tired of Finley's defensive breakdowns that have cost the Sioux three big games, most recently Finley's loss to Denver. His weak penalty cost goal #1 to Denver and his lack of taking out the attacking opponent on the winning OT goal. Get your head in the game Finley and we'd have another banner hanging in the Ralph.

It was the same play when you let Wheeler waltz in a on his freak goal at the last WCHA tournament. Hopefully, Hakstol figures out that you are the chink in our armor and sits you for the rest of the tournament season. Go back to Edina and play for the Gophers. We need people like Oshie that play give 110% for 60 minutes of regular play and then 120% for however many minutes an OT may take. "PLAY TILL THE END OF THE GAME"

I would guess this Jayden dude is a goopher fan in the closet, just trying to start some negative comments. Judging by his lack of knowledge about Lee vs Finley. I think Joes plus/minus rating speaks for itself. He will perform. Do you think Hak pointed out to him during film session against Denver to ride that guy out. #8 in 08!

  6. i think genoway is way to important on that blueline the way he rushes the puck up and makes his decisions. damn hes good!! 1st team wcha if i picked!!

I agree. I was so impressed with Genoway this past weekend. He reminds me of Paul Coffey when he played with the Edmonton Oilers. Such a great skater. I would be the first one to admit I miss having the big D men of the past few years puttiing the hurt on guys but Genoway skating the puck up ice and gaining the offensive zone instead of dumping it in is so valuable. Aren't some of the incoming defensive recruits bigger. Ben Blood?

  7. I just got an email from the Sioux Crew/Athletic Department newsletter and this was attached at the bottom of it:

Hopefully this is something that they can do because it would be really cool to see! Just thought I'd start getting the word out now

A white out would be cool. That would be way more shocking then the green out.

  8. Lucky we had a surplus of forwards.

I have to give Lucia a little credit. On Goofers live after the game they interviewed him about the scrum and what he was talking to the refs about and his concern was his players getting DQ'd for what he called "wrestling out there" He did not say anything negative about the scrum at the end of the game. I think he appreciates how hard the Sioux play and I bet that he wishes some of his premadonas would play with some of the grit and toughness that the fighting Sioux play with.

  9. I think a parent that is in control would be sufficient here Diggler. :D

The kids know idle threats when they hear em, and thats all we heard coming from her.

What annoys me is logging on to Sioux Sports hoping to see something new and interesting and seeing people that are as hard up as me for hockey season to start and are replying to this insane topic.

  10. We could shoot them and throw them on the ice when the Sioux score.

I like the idea of a white out better than a green out. It has more shock value. Look at the picture at the start of this post. A green out wouldn't be a whole lot different than any other night at the Ralph. Most people have a white T-shirt or they are sure cheap to buy.

  11. If you could pick one fantasy line from past and present Sioux who would your line up be? How about Craig Ludwig and Howard Walker on D and Tony Hrcas, Jonny Taves, and Jim Archibald at forwards and Jon Casey in the nets.
