    Of course they are different. The f-bombs fly back and forth between players, officials and coaches all the time. You don't fly the bird, especially to a ref. Everyone knows there's a line there.

    Yes, that's what it seemed to me too. It seemed like WDAZ apologized for letting us listen in, when obviously that stuff was going to happen. Even so, I was quite young and my parents were not very happy at all. I just find it a little funny that they can say whatever they want to the ref, even when you can hear them or read their lips, but when it comes to saying the same exact thing with a finger, uh oh, watch out.

    Quite a few years ago(I can't even remember when, I was quite young) I remember watching a Sioux game on WDAZ. I don't know why, but I think they had Blais with a microphone or the ref with a microphone, or something like that, but I clearly remember Blais using the f word at least once when screaming into the ref's ear. Sweeney had to apologize for that, but I don't remember anything happening to Blais. Are these two situations a lot different and can anyone else remember that game?

    Solid win all around tonight that puts us in third place. And that should be our goal for the regular season. I don't want to hear about finishing in the top five or fighting for "the fifth and final home playoff spot". :D The goal of this team should be to finish third. It is doable. It is a reasonable expectation. 1st and 2nd are probably unreachable, but 3rd place is up for grabs. All we have to do is play more consistently game in and game out and I think we will secure it. Third place would give us a more favorable first round match-up and keep us out of the play-in game at the Final Five (no team has ever won the Final Five after playing on Thursday).

    Bring on Michigan Tech! :)

    This has probably been mentioned before, but if we do end up placing somewhere between 3rd-5th, with the way things are looking now, we could be seeing the goofers back at the Ralph in March. :lol:
