  1. I just wish he was a Boston Bruin or a Wild player though. :D

I actually like him on the Devils, especially since Zajac's there as well. Living in California, I've become a Ducks fan. Then, there really isn't an NHL team that I don't like. It's just an awesome sport and league.

  2. Parise has 4 goals already in the Devil's playoff series against the Lightning. He had 31 in the season. At 22, he is quickly becoming one of the NHL's best young stars. Keep the goals coming, UND product!

  3. I'll start off with 3 ?s Mine are probably quite easy.

    1. Whos' s the only Sioux to win the Hobey Baker Award?

    2. What position did Ralph Engelstad play for the Sioux?

    3. What NHL team does former Sioux standout Jason Blake play for?

I know these are pretty easy, and the answers can probably be found here on this site.

    Anybody else?

  4. Hi all Sioux fans

I am fairly new to the world of college hockey and have 2 basic questions. How exactly is it determined who plays in the Frozen Four tournament? Also, is winning the Frozen Four the same as winning the D1 National Championship, or can you win one without winning the other?

    Thanks

    Jeff

  5. I know this isn't North Dakota related, but I thought some of you might find this story about Rutgers/ Indianapolis Colts LB Gary Brackett and what he has gone throughundefined very meaningful.

Thanks for that link. His story is most inspiring. To get through hard times, You gotta have faith.

  6. The "defense wins" theory doesn't always hold up. The Colts have a great offense and really tired out the Bears in the 2nd half. Besides, their own "D" was great in the game. I'm very happy for Dungy and Manning. They are both such class acts and great role models. Both are very humble about their sucsess. Congrats to both teams. That's so cool about Dungy's nephew being on the Sioux. I didn't know that.

  7. Hello and a happy holidays to all Fighting Sioux fans!

This is my first post on the boards. I hope it's my first of many. Any thoughts on whether this team can make the frozen four this year? Last year, I had to work and couldn't watch the game. But a friend taped it for me. I hope they can improve on their current record.

I went to an Anaheim Ducks game the day after Thanksgiving when they faced the Devils, who have 2 former Sioux players, Travis Zajac and Zach Parise.

Thanks and have a very merry Christmas!
