I am a died in the wool Gopher fan, this thread was started by a good friend of mine who happens to live here. He is without question a Sioux diehard. He needs to answer no one's question about his loyalty to all things Sioux. He heard from a decent source, that T. Chorney was having some troubles adjusting to college studies, and would soon be opting out of the program. He is concerned with all of the 2005 losses (Much the same as I am with the Gopher losses this year) and if Chorney goes what would the impact be. Archie is not a puke, he is a true ND fan.

Bottom line, Parise cost UND the game. Sioux ouplayed BC for the majority of the game,(even though Sioux played horrible in front of Parise at times) the Wooger said it best, he said hockey at playoff time should be called "goalie" If JP would have been in the proper position on the second goal (he got beat by the same shot 2 times in a row) He lost confidence ( which is THE MOST important part of a Goalies, and for that matter any sports positions ability to do well). Jordan was awesome against Michigan and HC, but when BC got that 2 goal lead he lost his confidence. He is a very good goalie, but if he had been able to stop a couple of goals that any WCHA goalie would find routine, I think the Sioux would have playing for a NT tonight. And they would have whupped those HOMOS from Crapison. Go anyone besides Becky Badger

This is the second biggest dissapointment of this years college hockey season for me. 1rst, Goldy losing in the first round to HC, and now, 2nd Becky winning the NT. They started threads about how this team was one of the best of all time. 14 GAMES INTO THE SEASON !!!! Yes they won a NT this year, but this team didn't have the talent that 3 WCHA teams had, (Minny, UND, and Denver ) that didn't win. The crappy Nuetral zone trap, and dump and chase hockey that won 2 Stanley Cups for the Devils, is what won for the Flaming Red HOMOS from Crapison. I realize this style of play would be adopted by everyone, if they could win a NT with it, but It sucks that Becky Badger wins it all with a MN,UND, DU REJECT lineup, whos best player is an prolific dive queen, who would be passing out towels in 9 out of 10 WCHA locker rooms, because of his fondness for being on his knees. BUCKY SUCKS, and FU and your 6 to 5 chants that will surely follow. You live in a crappy state, with crappy fans, crappy uniforms, and a general lack of class.

Congrats on a great season, frozen 4 after a very up and down first half, all the freshmen, the less than stellar home record, Etc.. Some have questioned why a Gopher fan would want to participate in a UND message board, and have said to "go back to GPL, or get out of here" I read your message board because college hockey is the sport I love, and I like to read what other college hockey fans talk about after the games are played. I was in GF for the regional, and I was crushed by Goldy's loss to HC on friday. I asked my boys if they wanted to sell our tickets for sat. and go home, and save money etc.. We decided to stay and watch the game that night, and we all agreed that is was well worth every penny. A phenominal arena, and watching how totally crazy your fans are about Sioux hockey, made for a great way to realize why we were there in the first place. We were given a constant barrage of crap from Sioux fans all weekend, and some of it was downright evil, but 99% of the people we talked to , and partied with, were very cool, and they could at least feel some of our pain. (Ferris State) I know that there are many posters on this board who hate Goldy with a passion, but count me in as Gopher fan that was really hoping that UND would go all the way. Great season, and as long as the NHL doesn't gobble up those great freshmen you have, here's to looking forward to a truly great sport's rivalry, for years to come.

As we had no confrontations at southgate, and wore our garb on Sat, you probably did talk to us, we were the 3 guys sitting in the corner licking our wounds. Thanks for being good sports, although we were quite sheepish about flashing Goldy colors after friday, again like I said most sioux fans were as shocked by friday's outcome as us. If you were one of the guys we hung out with, I hope you guys get to enjoy a NT in MIllyWaukee.

I am among the 5 who will not be wearing sioux attire because I/we suck. At least this year. I was in GF for the regional, and would like to say as a gopher fan, about 99% of the sioux fans that we spoke to/drank with, were totally cool and we had a great time anyway. Although it was the most dissapointing defeat of any sporting event I have witnessed. IE 4 super bowl losses, (this was harder to take) I want to reiterate what I said when we were still in GF : I hope the Sioux win the NT. the Sioux fans have twice as much class as any UW fans, and although I know ND fans hate the Gophs with a passion, at least they can respect the fact that I love my team, and would be willing to go to the Ralph on Sat pm just to watch a good hockey game. We hung out at Southgate all weekend and met many true ND fans, who were willing to talk about COLLEGE HOCKEY which is why we all love our teams anyway. If the Gophers cannot win the NT this year, I vote for the Sioux. Thank you GF for a very fun weekend, and a truly spectacular building to watch my favorite sport. I am not a troll, nor do I expect any flowery responses from the Sioux. I am just telling like I saw it. GO SIOUX.

My first post on this board, I have no Highlights to talk about. I was one of the Gopher fans that got tickets early on, and brought my buddies to GF to see UND and MN play for the F4. We had to first adjust to the HC upset, then we had to accept the ND whupping of Mich. AND THEN UND SMOKING HOLY CROSS
