What do we think the two-deep will look like on both off and def going into spring practice? Any position changes? Anyone not coming back? What will the most highly competitive positions be? Which frosh are expected to contribute the most?

At that size he's got to be looked at as a strong-side OLB or DE. probably 6-5 260 when he starts playing.

Brook Maier backed up Christofferson last season. It sounds like the key LB's next year will be OLB's : Hermes , Dahlen and Maier with Z.Bab-John heading the next group ILB's : Irvin, Anderson , Nordick and Halstenson with Ullsberger , from what i've heard , making it impossible for the coaches to keep him off the field. Kicked out of a scrimmge for going wild. Awesome. More athletes and speed than last year i think. They need to be nastier and try to intimidate more.

thanks for the info dbarker. i know an offensive player who said as defensive scouts this year that hoffschneider was really quick and agressive getting to the ball and that at lb ullsperger was just frickin' nuts. go soiux.
