    for sure. i dont think he was referring to replacing kozek with davidson but its great to see mario and davidson take advantage of their ice time

    I agree . . . it's nice to see guys step up to replace an injured player.

    David, who played this past season for Shattuck St. Mary's High School in Minnesota, is slightly shorter than Jonathan at five foot 11, but weighs the same at 185, which makes him stockier.

    "He might be a little smoother player than I am," David said. "I try to rough it up a little more. He's a great player and I try to imitate him sometimes, but I've got to have my own style of play as well."

    Smaller rink at the old RALPH made for more noise and it seemed there were more crazy students attending back then to.Hey I'm a season ticket holder and I know first hand how quiet the Ralph can be and the old RALPH was much louder than the new version.

    Maybe if the PA system didn't drown out the fans every time they tried to get a cheer going . . . :lol:

    i agree.........hes a player....lets hope he isnt on jan 26,27 along with the rest of that bunch to put it nicely ;)

    OK--I have to apologize. I didn't pay enough attention to who & what the clip was. Just thought it was a blooper.

    I feel like I have mud on my face now! :0 I totally agree with what has been said in this link.

    I guess I have been a bit upset and saddened by the whole Sioux name issue and the things the NCAA has been doing. It

    caused me to wonder why UND would want to honor the Sioux by having their name and traditions associated with UND if

    they weren't helping UND more in the debate. I hope this new legislation helps UND keep the Sioux name without being

    penalized by the NCAA!

    I am going to shut up about the nickname issue now! Sorry for acting so crazy :D my fellow FIGHTING SIOUX fans!!

    I am guessing the NCAA would continue to ban UND from hosting if the fans continued to do the things the NCAA considers to be "hostile" and "abusive". Just a guess but I wouldn't doubt it if the NCAA considered the fans carrying on the Sioux tradition as carrying on the hostility and abuse even though they don't include fans in the list of players, cheerleaders, band members, and whoever else their list included.

    Ha-they already said they can't stop the fans from wearing whatever they want because of free speech :D

    I still like this as my #1, although I know it would probably never fly:

    #2) No nickname. Just North Dakota. Sell the rights to the Sioux-Head logo to REA Inc. They can put it on as many hats and shirts as they want, just with no reference to UND or Fighting Sioux. The fans will carry the name on.

    #3) Dakotans. That is what all residents of the state are, and a majority of UND's students.

    #4) Since UND is the premeir aviation school in the nation, something like Flyers, Jets, Aeros, Dogfighters would be fitting.

    #5) Rough Riders. I don't really like it, but if a name-change does happen, I'm 99% sure that this is what it will be.
