A TON of mistakes in the 3rd period.
Oshie and Lamoreaux really tried to keep us in the game.
Too bad. A great season nonetheless.

I see your point HEXTALL. If the Don would have ended our season like Hak has two out of the last three years (should have been 3 in a row but NC robbed us of that)I would have been calling for his head as well.

I love all the superstitions.

Regardless of how the regionals were set up, I do agree that this is currently the best rivalry in college hockey. While I realize a lot of Gopher fans consider UW the better overall rival because our states clash in so many different ways, UM-UND imho has always produced better hockey and UND is a team I have typically feared more than any other team. UW - not so much.
I agree with you that the Sioux and Gophers is best rivalry in College Hockey!!!!!!!

Once again, Wheelers goal = Great hustle and a bit of luck. Binas goal = Bit of luck and a sieve in goal. God himself couldn't have stopped Wheelers goal. Gophers are still sieves.

Only thing I think the kids 35 and under probably don't know too much about Iron Madien. Its a shame you don't hear the good music anymore.
They need some Ozzy Ozborne, Kiss, Bon Jovi, Posion, Juda Priest and some other good 1980's music.

My Frozen Four tickets came and I was disappointed that both Semifinal games are together. Yes that's right there will be only ticket for the games on Thursday. They due note that you can exit , but must have your ticket scanned before leaving, and scanned again as you re-enter for the second game.
Not sur on how bad the tickets are Sec 316 Row B. Looks like behind the goal line.
Look forward to having fun in St. Louis.
watching the Gophers play will be fun................

The Denver site is great for the Sioux. There will be a ton of Sioux fans there supporting the team. It won't be quite the home ice advantage of last year, but will be very loud for the Sioux! If I remember correctly, the Sioux fans outcheered the DU fans earlier this year. The real season starts on Saturday. GO SIOUX!
I think Magnus arena is a little smaller than the Pepsi Center just by a 10,000 seats or so?

No a#@ kicking, but it does show that the Gophers have a heart and are able to grind out a game and if they continue to play like Saturday they will be tough to beat!!!!!!!

I certainly am not going to hang my head after that. Minnesota played, a great game, got a little lucky, but deserved to win. Both teams did. Phil played well, but let in 3 goals he probably shouldn't have. One was weak, and the last 2 he got out of position. Oh well, he still had about 40 saves. If Oshie or Kaip could have hit an open net everybody would be happy, and there would be less trolls here. Hats off the the Gophers they played a great game. Hats of to the Sioux they played a great game. Minus the penalties, I think the Sioux could have buried them in the first period. I think it is too bad we are both in the West. I like our chances in a rematch when Minnesota won't have the same level of fan support.
Anyone blaming Lee for this loss should remove one's head from one's a$$.

That is so true, the crap I saw this year re-afirms this we also had three of the worst Goofer fans possibly in the world, my buddies wife almost beat the crap out of them and she is a Gopher fan. I also never want to hear a Gopher fan ever lecture a Sioux fans about being a Halos again because the claims of the Gopher fans not complaining about the officating is no true, they are the biggest whinners I have ever seen. The calls in the game were bad both ways but the Gopher fans apparently think that you can't check a gopher or give them a penalty. This one clown that sat behind us is going to have an a heart attack the man bitched about everything, the reffing the fans around him, the refs again, every period intermission he was complaining to who ever about anything. I was going to ask him why he even bothered coming to the games.
God are you people such hypocrites I mean like no Sioux fans at all went over board after the Gophers loss to Holy Cross game last year right!!!!!! I mean really lets face the facts Every College team and I mean even Sioux fans want there team to win against there rivals!!!!!!! but when there team loses anger gets the best of both sides and brings out A holes on either side, that is just facts!!!!! true there are brutal Gopher fans just as there rude Sioux fans but please spare me the he said she said BS and just be a better hockey fan and drop the drama and accept that it is all about everyone giving each other some @#$^ ok people its Hockey for Christ sakes........
