I remember about 3-4 years ago wahpeton played central in the first game of the day of EDC and it was 21-0 or something like that.

With that said lets get back on track, I heard that EDC tourney will not be held at the Ralph, NDpride you seem to be very knowledgable, do you know why this is?

I'm thinking the Deacons are gonna keep playing the Cinderella role tonight and pull off a 4-2 win with an empty netter to seal it. Is anyone going to be at this game to give a recap?

I don't care if the Western teams all stink. All that matters is that they exist. Unlike Minnesota, ND is a hockey wasteland in the western part and the more hockey that gets out there, the better.

i get sick of people not letting us talk about the west we heard about the east enough lets talk about the west for a little bit if you dont like it just go choke on a piece of lefsa

Um no they are not good. They are like 8th or 9th in the West.
alright thanks the reason i asked was because my nephew called from bottineau and said that they were going to be decent this year

I've tried talking about the west on this message board, but with that comes constant belittering from posters who constantly feel the need to reiterate the fact that eastern hockey is better.
The grass is green, the sun is warm, ice is cold, and yes, in North Dakota eastern hockey is better than western hockey....
that has needed to be said for a long time now and coming from a true scandanavian all i got to say is vedy good

Since i havent been back to the U.S. in more than a decade i havent seen much hockey but while i was living in north dakota the west was terrible. I heard recently in the grape vine that bottineau had a good team this year could sombody tell me if this was true

I know noone really cares about the west from what ive read so far but is anyone else surprised that Williston isnt doing better? I mean i thought they were supposed to have a good line and a half and a couple good defensmen. And for the west thats saying alot. They were also ranked high early on.
The west consistently doesnt do very well
