How did they do last year under Blais???
Housley is doing just fine, and made the medal round ( which Blais did not) so even if he benched young Mr. Grimaldi, I believe he knows what he is doing.
And you probably shouldnt rip on Grant too much... he is from your great state, and more importantly won a championship for my beloved Gophers.

As a Gopher fan, I feel I have to take the good, as well as the bad...I expect to hear about Holy Cross until if/when the Gopher's ever win another Nat. Champ.
I would do the same thing if the Sioux lost to HC last year instead of MN.....I would be too cheap to buy a HC jersey though.

Thank all of you for your kind words...I know I never want to see a rivals player hurt, either physically, or have some sort of mental problem. We ( Gopher fans) will miss him, and hopefully he will make it back. If he doesnt come back to the team, I hope he gets his life in order.
P.S. the same goes for Robbie Bina..hope he make it back, and playing again
P.S.S. Kick the crap out of Denver in a couple of weeks (score wise that is )

I think/know they will get better, the one real bright spot was Wheeler, looked like they were trying to force the puck too much to kessel....in the meantime keep laughing

As a Gopher fan, last weekends game were bad. Not only didnt the forwards play defence....not many of the defencemen did either...except for a bad non-call, the Gophs should have lost both games

Gophers Against Ranked Foes
Tuesday marks Minnesota's eighth game this year against a nationally ranked opponent (6-1-1) and second-straight against a top-five program. The Gophers opened the season with a two-game sweep over No. 16 Michigan State (Oct. 12-13), split a pair of 3-2 league games with No. 13/14 Omaha (Nov. 30-Dec. 1) and picked up three league points at No. 19 Colorado College (Dec. 7-8) before topping No. 1 Boston College 8-1 on Dec. 30.
