Is Eli interested in playing at the next level at all?If not can anyone tell me why not, he seems to be a very good goaltender with potential at the next level just curious.

I beleive last years team included kalvin shane sean deichert and michel hillman or maybe justin welk was in there im not positive
last year the 87/88 goalies were Sean Deichert from south Michel Hillman from bismarck and Kalvin Shane from Central. The 88 team that went to the national tournament had Justin Welk from north and Hillman. Also that national tournament team had players like Thomas Campbell and Mario Lamoureux

yeah quinn is a great player im not fond of "Mad Man's" comment he was probably a figure skater at one point in his life

Eli and Mike Hillman of BHS will be the two top netminders in the state without a doubt

your evaluation of hilly is entirely incorrect, he normally plays on teams that couldnt win a game if their lives depended on it and with the ND select situation i was their for the 86/87 tryouts last year and watched the 88 group and it looked to me he was an obvious pick but Wade Storey didnt seem to think he was a "caliber" goaltender and as far as the to small thing goes youve got it all wrong his angles and qucikness are like no one elses and that makes up for his small stature . i dont think size means anytihing as long as you stop the puck he hasnt lost a step although i dont think hes the BEST goalie in the state but i think hes up there

i do not know alot about him just what other people have told me and i have not seen him play enough to tell you to much , ive only seen the tyke play in the west region tourny and he looked ok to me

wasnt sean deichert of south supposed to be good this year he started their first couple games of the year if im not mistaken?

what about Justin Welk from Fargo North? isnt he supposed to be pretty solid

welk is not a spectacular goalie he isnt bad, he can be solid at times

I think that Bismarck is a team very much like grafton, one big line, not much else. But with a less than 100% sam aide, rr should pull this one out. In regards to Minot, the only reason theyre undefeated is because the only real competiton theyve seen is rr and grafton. it will be difficult for minot to get past central because of the home ice advantage. if they do get past central it will be even tougher to get past grafton. they can beat anyone they want at home but you arent a good team until you can win on the road. also-even if aide is close to full strength, it will take 1 supermarket sweep for him to be limping back to the bench.

the bismarck team has two good lines a couple stong defensemen and a goalie that could steal a win or two, although consistancey has been a problem for bhs this year they could be great one game and terrible another and without aide who knows what they will be like

the top out of the west would have to be
Stahl SR. Minot (never though he could be a number 1, but proved me wrong)

That would be very cool indeed. North Dakota would be represented very well if all of those players joined the FM Jets. If all of those players tried out and made it then we could see a team with not only Mihulka, Weisgarber, Klenow, Larson and Okland but north dakota players like Rody Selk, Jon Halstenson and Kyle Graalum(not sure on their eligibility due to age) I have heard rumor that the jets are interested in Hillman any information or truth on that?
