  1. ON the bright side we only play minnesota twice this year.

I agree and it's at Minnesota, where the Sioux will most likely get a split!

I like the when the Sioux have a very week non-conference schedule! The Sioux should win almost all if not all of the non-conference games next year!

  2. Well we have a little under 6 months to think about this.

I am still not happy about UND not getting a home seed or going to the final five. I think UND is going to have a season of payback. ON the bright side we only play minnesota twice this year.

We have padded the schedule with non-conference cream puffs. I see a winning record and a NCAA tourney bid coming next season. 2 ECAC team, Niagra, Cansius. I see about 6 wins right there with a possible match up with BSU...

I also think that the Sioux will get 3rd next year, although I wouldn't be surprised to see them at #2!

Both Denver and Minnesota are good, but neither of these teams will run away with the WCHA. The loses to Leopold, Pohl, Hauser and probably Taffe will be HUGE!

Minnesota doesn't have very good goalies, so that will be a weak point.

  3. I was in St. Paul to see the game, it was a good game! Both teams did have penalties in ot, but I can't believe they called that one!!! That was a terrible break for Maine.

Hauser was tripping people most of the ot!

    Good game anyway!

  4. Sprig I am going out on Record that UofMaine will win. I just can't bring my self to cheer for the Gophers. I don't want to have to listen to their fans all year. Actually if they win your just about assured they won't win it all next season.

I don't believe in the cheering for the Conference, for instance if BU is playing SCSU I will chear for

Wow, starting off going to UNC, SDSU and NDSU won't be easy!

How does the rest of the NCC look?

I can't wait for next season!

  6. The Sioux are going to have one of their best teams in history next year! The Sioux don't lose any starters!

Returing is Lolar, Beasley, Porter, Walker, Brandt and more! They will be fun to watch!

Beasley is getting looked at by pro scouts!

  7. I know this is really, really early, but is Dave Hale supposed to stay all four years?

This will still be a very young defense, with 1 senior, 1 junior, 3 sophomores and 2 freshman. All of them besides Lienweber are very big and physical!

I don't really mind this schedule! I like the fact that the Sioux get the non conference games out of the way first!

This years schedule is very tough in the conference. You play NDSU, Augustana, UNO, SDSU and UNC on the road.

Then you play the three worst teams at home. Besides UNO, they get all of their hard games out of the way, which is good!

    Can't wait for next season!

  9. I would rather see B.U. win than a certain team.

I wouldn't mind New Hampshire either! Michigan and Minnesota are the two teams in college hockey that I don't like at all, along with BC!

I would rather see a team from the east win it, then Minnesota or Michigan!

  10. With the way the devised the ticket it is going to assure that a HE team makes the frozen four. The way they picked the teams this year was a disgrace. Cornell, Harvard and QU as the draws as opposed to MSU, Michigan and C.C.

I would rather see B.U. win than a certain team.

It was a total disgrace the way they did it this year. The West was much, much stronger than the east. It sucks for teams like CC and SCSU, who could of possible gotten to the FF! Come on, Cornell as a 4 seed!

New Hampshire got so lucky this year! Playing Cornell to get into the FF! Hopefully things will change next year, this year it was unfair for some teams!

  11. Offical voice of the UND Fighting Sioux Radio network, Tim Hennesey think UND might get a regional next season if they expand the tourney to 16 teams. I think that would be a great event to watch.

When will we know if they are going to expand the tourney to 16 teams?

  12. #### Michigan gets a regional this season and next season. I think UND will start applying on a regular basis with the new barn being in the mix.

I couldn't agree with you more, about UND applying for the regional! It would be such an advantage for them.
