Haven't heard Kerry Rodd so excited in a long time! The 'Dogs are really playing hard tonight, it's really exciting. Evidently, the opposite of what's going on tonight at the REA. Anyone got scores from any other games? I know it's a quiet week for WCHA action.

Ok evidently I haven't been paying attention, but, when did JPar and Phil get penalties? Each has 1 penalty, 2 PIM. No I am not retarded, I do know goalies can get penalties, but it's so rare, I'm a bit curious.

I didn't think quoting the game stats was a big claim. Is your point that the Sioux, even though they came up with fewer PIM and more PP than the 'Dogs, they still got hosed because they should have taken even fewer penalties? Also, I enjoy running my mouth off and writing checks my ass can't cash, but I also have a sense of humor about these things. Which you seem to, also. I am hoping we will not have to face the Sioux again (in NCAAs or Final Five action) so we can all go back to hating Bucky and singing Kum By Ah.

Hey folks, Missed out on the game last night because, unlike my brother, when I work late on game days, I can't listen to the game. Anyway, I can't comment on the game at all, but I think you guys should be happier than you are. A 5-1 win on Friday when you've been complaining about a lack of offensive effort from your team? You should be happy with a split at the DECC, instead of harping on your team. I mean, I was happy to be swept by Wisconsin for crying out loud, because at least we played well and hung in there against a really good team. I do a fair amount of grumbling about the 'Dogs but I think you all need to get some perspective! It doesn't count until February, anyway. I can see how one could interpret "potential career-ending hit" as someone got injured. I don't know why you're all of a sudden attacking UMDDogz when he posts on here all the time and is pretty respectful of the Sioux and of everyone on here. The Sioux drop one to the 'Dogs and you turn on the 'Dogs fans? We're not on here gloating or anything. Every other game we're pulling for the Sioux. Congrats on the win Friday night. But I'm really happy about the 'Dogs win last night. It's been so long since we won a game against you all, I think this will really be a confidence booster for us.

Like I said, I didn't mean to start s&!t and leave, so I'm back. I think what happened towards the end of the game was pathetic. The refs wanted to get the game over with, so they didn't want to call anything (until it started to get out of hand, but by that time, it was pointless.) The officiating didn't affect the outcome of the game, but I think the NCAA has mandated one style of officiating while allowing entirely different styles in actual games. Like you guys said, the Sioux got screwed at the beginning of the game, but then the refs decided to let things go to make up for that. You never know what to expect or what you can get away with. The Sioux try to test the officials, see what they can get away with, and the 'Dogs won't do that, but they take penalties anyway. ZEBRAS PISS ME OFF. And the other thing that pisses me off is only Peluso and Rosehill are willing to stand up for their team. Basically the 'Dogs need to play physically if that's what the Sioux are going to do. I hate that style of hockey, but you've got to beat your opponent at their own game.
