  1. Coach Ulferts (Lori) is a UND Grad (from Warren,Minn) use to play Field Hockey, Softball, Volleyball, B-Ball at UND

(with Ms Walrus). She always has been nothing but Class win or lose, she has done a outstanding job at St cloud.

    Great Lady...!

I know you are supposed to post a link and not copy a whole article, so I'll do the best I can...this is how classy Ulferts is:

When Lori Ulferts emerged from the locker room, she could have criticized her team for allowing North Dakota to shoot 68 percent from the field or just not making the necessary adjustments when the Sioux started to pull away. She didn't. She just raved.

"They're a good team, aren't they?" she said. "Aren't they fun to watch? You're from Division I, right? If that's not a Division I game, I don't know. That's a pretty good basketball game. It's just great basketball."

  2. Wow...It looks different around here...(new look at the top of the page)..I wish Mr. Brewster the best...he has been good for UND...especially recruiting. Anyone know if the women's BB schedule is out yet?? Can hardly wait!

  3. According to the Herald, it's 2:00 our time, on 100.3 FM.

that's why I'm confused..on the Women's Basketbal Home Page, it says 12:00 noon for today's game and 2:00pm for tomorrow's...guess I'll just check at both times...thanks!

  4. 83-63 final....northern only scores 25 in 2nd half....Roebuck chews ass at half time.....Kierah,Dani,Whitney keep them in 1st Half...off Bench......Amy player of Game7-9 overall 6-8 threes....good win!!! 9-0

Revenge tour continues Sat vs ConcordiaSt Paul.....

Now that's what you call a team...every minute there's someone picking up the slack...from freshmen to senior...nice job ladies!!! Looking forward to Saturday!! ;)

  5. Is the game tonight still on 96.1? Is anyone else having trouble getting reception on the radio? Perhaps it has something to do with the ice storm? Any ideas? My internet connection to the station is nothing but static too.

  6. I listened to part of the game, and both teams were struggling..neither team had scored in 4-5 minutes and it didn't sound like it was because of intense defense ??? When your own coach is stating that it is like pulling teeth and he saw on Monday that there was no "passion", wouldn't you try to fix that on Monday???? prior to the game on Tuesday??? Hopefully, things will improve, but from listening last night..I don't know that the Herald is that far out of line.

  7. " When Crookston palyed NDSU a couple weeks ago" ,

do you think UND will ever get the chance to play them again??? I bet that would fill the Betty. I hope it is a challenging game, that will only make it more interesting...blow outs are hard to play with prolonged intensity and they are not as fun to watch! The potential of this team is mind boggling, but there have been some bright spots in the younger players already...each game they play a little better...one would hope it will only escalate! ???

  8. Ok-Time to get the Women's Basketball discussion up and going again! Monday's game sounded pretty good although the internet feed was a bit garbled. Great article on Kimbrough-can't wait to see the women again on Friday!! ???

    P.S.

Thanks, Jim for getting the forum up and running again-I went through 18 hours of withdrawl!! ???

I too appreciate the work in fixing the "crash"...I must have checked a 100 times yesterday...the women are fun to watch...so much talent and when it's clicking...it is some great basketball. I listened to the men's game briefly yesterday...they seem to be struggling..hope they can remedy that, but the future looks bright for the ladies if they stay injury free as much as possible!

  9. I notice that the several Bison fans who frequent this site have not commented on this.  It must be a fluke that they haven't seen it yet - or could it be that they are embarrassed by this unethical behavior by one of their own???

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

;) I am not sure if you are referring to me, but let me just clarify that, yes, NDSU is my alma mater, but believe me...I will be a die hard Sioux fan for at least the next 4 years. That said....I am familiar with Amy as I was recruited by her back in the day and I am close to someone who was just recently recruited by her...her style sucks...for lack of a better word. She has had a lot of success and knows the X's and O's of basketball...no doubt about it...is she aware of the etiquette involved with verbal recruits...of course she is...did she know Jossy verbaled...of course she did....did she break any "rules"...probably not....should she have done it this way...probably not. My advice to a recruit would be...go to where they wanted you from the start....good school...great chance of competing for national championships...sounds like UND to me
