It did take some time for ROland. I think he just needed to find his focus. He also had a nice lookin girlfriend who would be inspiration enough for me. KNow what I mean?

I think the shout out to the El Roco is great. I didn't know that place was still running. I use to go there back in my college days. I could cut a pretty good rug back in those days.

Come on fellas. GIve the young guy a chance to show himself. He seems like a pretty nice kid and I remember having to give other backs, such as Roland a little time to develop into a power house. He'll be a good one to watch for.

Amazing that there has been no talk about this game yet. By far the biggest game of the year to date. Whoever wins this should win the league. My thoughts:
Defense is the key. I've always felt that defense wins championships and its time to prove that theory. I believe that if the D can disrupt an offense it throws them off and they then struggle to bounce a comeback.
UND will need to score first. Force UNO to throw. They may have some big receivers, but throwing seems to always lead to more turnovers. Time and time again, teams underestimate UND's defense and think their rusher will be the one to have a big game against UND. I can't think of a recent big runner against UND, therefore, I believe we'll do fine against UNO's run.
Our offense (no matter who leads it) needs some consistency. I also believe we need three TD's to win. The consistency will help keep UNO's offense off the field. RUN THE BALL!
Special teams should go to us, but it is outdoors.
Intangibles are the great outdoors and playing at UNO. We always find a way to lose there, plus we struggle outdoors. At least UNO has turf.
BTW, the band is making the trip down.

I agree. RUN THE BALL. Let Roland get some momentum and I beleive he can do great things and get the job done.

Just how do you propose UND gets 21 points without an adequate QB against the #2 defense (behind GVSU) in the GLIAC? Remember Bowermancamp is out. LOL.

Apparently your QB was useful too. . . I know it takes alot of skill to hand the ball off.

pretty sure the players wouldn't waste their time defending themselves to people they don't even know. Just wanted to be a little bit more hopeful than hurtful. These guys are working their butts off. They deserve a little respect, don't you think?

Well then name a QB that could do better. If their was someone that could do better don't you think they would be out there. Cutting him down really isn't going to help anything, is it?

Cut Belmore some slack. SCSU was a good team and Belmore is still trying to find his rythm. It would be hard playing well knowing there's not alot of people beleiving you can do the job.
