some frozen four observations:
best moment - watching my son skate onto the ice with his teammates, thinking "i cant believe they're here"
worst moment - game over, they lost - i can't believe it!
other great memories - running into old friends (UND fans) at the Harp on thursday for a pre-game; doing the historical Boston tour (all that); lunch at Cheers and walking the Freedom Trail on a beautiful Saturday afternoon; being at the inch.com party Friday night - wow! - I wonder what that bar tab was!?! what a good time that for all who could fit in the place!!; going to all the games and not scalping our tickets for whatever $$!; being there and watching Junior get the Hobey and the reception after at The Rack - at least some consolation!; having family come from all over the country, especially grandpa and grandma was great;
the T is awesome - back and forth from the hotel to the fleet and downtown for 3 days for $7.50 works for me! never mind that we had to take a cab from the inch party because the T stopped running at 12:30am!!
anyway, you can see that i am a UMD fan (and a closet UND fan!), and I can see why you all are proud of your championship banners. this really is something and i want to go back again!
line of the weekend - my daughter to a Minnesota fan with his "M" jersey on - "I didn't know you guys were here - what time do you play?" priceless!! he was not happy!
