  1. couple of things,

there been 7 new D1 women's hockey programs added since UND drop theirs

this year they allowed checking along the boards  your not allowed to do any  north to south hits

there are currently 2 professional Hockey Leagues for womens PHF and PWHF Darrly watts of wisconsin just signed the highest contract ever $300,000

Swedish women's league allows full on checking.

Should UND bring back womens hocky No!  for a couple of reasons

The university is always doing budgets cuts

if it was legal drop all women's sports, not one has attendance to break even.

UND women's basketball games have less than 800 people and UND Softball no one ever.

I believe majority of UND Fans and alumni don't care about Womens Hockey as you see on this board.

Let the 7 new programs succeed and lets forgot about Womens sports in general.

Football is the #1 money maker in college sports nothing else comes close.

Anyone here know the girls tourney saves record?

No idea but the best goaltending display I saw for girls was 2017  the first round #2 Fargo North south vs #7 mandan

saves were 50-10 and mandan upset Fargo north which had 4 division 1 players on that team

Mandan goalie is playing division 1 one of the best in the country and was a All American last year matter fact I believe she is the only All American to play in the ND state Tourney

UND doesn’t need women’s hockey and women’s hockey doesn’t need UND

when und drop the program there was only 35 teams now there is 42

Very few of D1 schools have attendance to women’s hockey

Idalski never recruited anyone from the state of North Dakota

currently there are 7 North Dakota girls playing D1 3 of them have been named all conference or 1st team

i have $5 if anyone can name the 7 ND girls who used UND as a carrot inspiring them to pursue there dream

A lot of People on this board don’t like women’s hockey

living in the the twin cities and asking fathers of potential D1 girls if UND would bring back hockey would they pursue it they all said no like when your girlfriend cheats would you take them back

let the other schools who are committed to having both men’s and women’s hockey programs continue to grow the sport for them

Been 2 weeks I will give the answers to the ND 7 players in division 1 Hockey

    3. Lucy Morgan G -Mandan- ST. Lawrence University  This one surprises me but I now  remember when she  upset #2 Fargo North South in the state tournament shots were 55-8 against and Mandan won,  she was named 1st team ECAC and Goalie of the year Last year. Currently she is ranked 4th in the NCAA Division 1 in the nation

    6. Abby Promersberger sister F Fargo North South-Freshman at St Thomas University-which really took over UND sport making it the 8th team in the WCHA 2nd Line 5 Goals 7 assists

    7. Avery Meyers-Sister F- Fargo North South -University of New Hampshire 3rd-4th Line 4 goals and 2 assist

    9. Katelyn Arman-F Fargo North South University of Maine

So there is 9 players on Division 1 Hockey teams from North Dakota hats off for them beating the odds.

If there are any more please share

IMHO- I bet UND Hockey was a big influence on all these girls growing up that was the carrot, In the next 5-7 years I wonder how many North Dakota Girls will make a Division 1 squad-
