Mismash needs to realize that he is a potential All American if he can get his motor running on a consistent basis.

Agreed. Biggest area for improvement in his game is his attitude/mental toughness. He shuts down when he doesn't get a call, or is having a poor game. That's where a captain like the General would have come in handy. Pattyn wouldn't have put up with Mismash's bs, and that's not a knock on Poolman, they have different leadership styles.

The PP that year was 19%, hardly lights out. The 17-18 team’s PP conversion was better (21%) and they didn’t even make the tourney and everyone thought the PP sucked then too.

I should've checked the stats before going out on a limb like that! I guess that 15'-16' proved then that you don't need a good PP to win a championship, granted you have enough talent! We can't control the PP issue, or anything else the team does for that matter, so I'm not gonna spend time worrying about it.

  3. PP is all about personnel. Shaw had the PP during the '15-'16 season and it was lights out due to CBS line, Stecher, Poolman, LaDue, and others. When your team's highest goal scorer is a forward with 10 goals, of course the PP is going to be awful.

Other than being ND Attorney General, please show me Heidi Heitkamp's experience as chief executive officer or chief financial officer in any organization and as such having ultimate and final fiscal decision power.

Tom Clifford was not a CEO or a CFO prior to becoming the UND president, and he's the greatest president we've had and will probably ever have. Yes, he was a dean of a college prior, but at the same time, HH was director of Dakota Gasification, which came with a board position (I think those folks have fiscal say).

If she gave a damn about the state she would still be a senator

You're a hack - quit being so hurt over her voting record like the liberals are in Colorado with Kennedy's voting record

  6. Despite what you think of Heitkamp's politics, what McFeely says is true. She would not be using the job as a stepping stone to something better like Kennedy has, and she has a great personality for the job - she'll have a beer with anyone. Nonetheless, it's a long shot, but worth thinking about.

In the meantime, get Ed Schafer back to campus to be the interim president while the mess gets sorted out. I was a student when he was interim President in 2016 and he was a great presence to have on campus (way more visible than Kennedy, struck up conversations with students, and even taught a leadership class).
