The portal isn’t going away in recruiting. Yes missing on high end guys now is frustrating, but it could leave some scholarship $ available for after the year to add proven high end experience players that address specific needs after the season plays out.

Never been less impressed by a Denver hockey team yet we are going to finish behind them in the standings. Of course I haven’t seen a less impressive UND team in a long time.
Agreed.... so how bad is our forwards.
Minus Hayden Shaw the defense is good and Scheel is a good trendy, it’s been said many times on this forum but our point production from our forwards is horrendous.

Hope for a split next weekend considering how much better Duluth is than the F’nHawks. But serious struggles on offense won’t change this year or probably next year.

So I feel like a Jim Rome caller, “first time long time”.
Since 2012 I have logged onto this website everyday since I became a “UND” or “Fighting SIOUX” fan.
I remember gameday threads going for almost 30 pages. Now we don’t even have a game day thread?
Is AZSioux ok? Where did he go? Why is GFHockey so calm and only occasionally posts? I know things happen in life and people get busy, but it just seems like this forum is slowly dying.
I enjoy following Sioux Hockey and the recruiting side and just hope the action on this website can grow and action increase.
Btw, I always found humor in the brutal punctuation from those that post when they are hammered.

I saw Sioux are playing Minny on Thanksgiving week again… I laughed when I saw that because I remember a few years ago, that was one of the biggest a** whippings I have ever seen in hockey, completely took them to the woodshed in their barn with more Sioux fans than Gopher fans. And then swept that a** the next night. Driscoll will be the difference and will sweep those silver spoon cake eaters again.
