  1. I know this should be in the ticket thread but this gets more people looking through so more chance of some help...

I need help getting hold of one ticket to the Frozen Four. I tried calling the Fighting Sioux ticket office but they are only selling to sioux club members.

So if any members out there that could get me a ticket and I will pay for it either via paypal or cash in person in denver that would be great.

The only way I can collect the tickets is to meet someone in person in denver before the game or at the pre-game party.

I know this is a lot to ask but it is one of my only options left. Thanks for anyone that helps!!!

Call me asap if you still need a ticket. Have one in lower bowl. 701-739-5694.

  2. I had the same thoughts on the arena lst Saturday night. When I walked in last Saturday night I was amazed at the number of people that were in line to see the game. It was great. But, it was a mess because the season ticket holders or people who bought their tickets in advance had to make their way through the crowd to get to the ticket takers. This problem can be easily taken care of by opening up the other half of the room and moving the ticket takers to that side. The rest of the problems are architecual problems and won't be fixed.

    Go Sioux!

  3. A quick note on the original intro and the firts two years of video coverage. The first two years the video work was contracted out to ASN, the same group that is still doing the football games at the Alerus. After the second year TB thought that he was paying too much money for the services and decided he could get by with cheap help. Guess what , it shows now with poor quality video. We don't get the goal replays most of the time and the intro sucks. REA also decided it made more money by running ads instead of using crowd shots. "Birthday" shots went from free to $25.00 per shot. It's all about money and stats and videos don't make money.

REA is a great facility with poor management!

  4. You need to remember that here in Grand Forks if the Ralph is busy during the time we may host a BB playoff that we still have the Alerus. I have not attended a game there but I here it sets up real nice.

  5. It seems that the regional selection comittee will do anything to keep the NCC schools from hosting. Look back two years to the Mesa State games. All of the teams that made the regionals from that area went down in the first round. I would agree that looking at the SOS should have had UND hosting. Hyslop would have been a good place to hold the regional finals. At least Hyslop can hold more than 1200 fans.

  6. On the post game show last Saturday night Scott Hennen made the comment that the fans did not create much of an atmosphere and led me to believe that we were just a bunch of dead beats. I would agree with coach Blais that the fans didn't have much to cheer about Saturday night. But the issue that I am getting to is that many of the fans in my section think that the music being played by the Ralph is just to damn loud. I see people with their hands covering their ears because it is so loud that it hurts. I was not in Wisconson but heard that they do not use the loud music to help cheer on the team. They leave it up to the crowd and it works well. You will also notice that when the fans get a good cheer going and start making a lot of noise, the music comes drowning out the fans so the fans then stop. My solution would be to start by turning down the music that they do play and then don't play it so often.

Let the fans cheer on the team!

    Go Sioux!!

  7. This is my first entry on the board. I have been an avid reader but have finaly decided to respond. I would like to say that the administrator is doing a fine job. Reading a one sided opinion board is not interesting, just read the bisonville site and you will see what I mean. Keep up the good work.
