Fake news?

You've definitely slipped from reality.  It's embarrassing to think that you may have finished a degree from the same school I did.  What exactly did you learn at UND if you did?

Maybe you should have went to "Trump University"?

Maybe you did.

LOL

any outlet that spent 3 years reporting fake news every night about "russia, russia, russia" and then don't admit they were lying=fake news

I see.  So, you prefer the lies from Trump over factual information.

That is the reasoning of a member of a cult.

As far as NPR's reliability, it is credible despite what Trumptards think.  Maybe a slight liberal bias, according to this source.

Before someone says this is fake news, it's from the justice department.

22 Arrested, Facing Federal Charges After Weekend Protest at Federal Courthouse in Portland

Quote

PORTLAND, Ore.—U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams announced today that 22 people have been arrested and are facing federal charges for their roles in weekend protests at the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse in Portland.

According to court documents, since May 26, 2020, protests in downtown Portland have been followed by nightly criminal activity including assaults on law enforcement officers, destruction of property, looting, arson, and vandalism. The Hatfield Federal Courthouse has been a nightly target of vandalism during evening protests and riots, sustaining extensive damage.

U.S. Marshals Service deputies and officers from the Federal Protective Service, Homeland Security Investigations, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection working to protect the courthouse have been subjected to nightly threats and assaults from demonstrators while performing their duties.

Six people have been charged for alleged criminal conduct during a protest beginning July 23, 2020 and continuing into the early morning hours of July 24, 2020. Carly Anne Ballard, 34, and David Michael Bouchard, 36, are charged with assaulting federal officers; and Josslynn Kreutz, 28, Dakota Eastman, 30, Ezra Meyers, 18, and Mark Rolycanov, 28, are charged with failing to obey lawful orders.

On July 24, 2020, agents from Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested Ronald Bernard Hickey, 44, a Canadian National, for harassing and stalking federal employees assigned to assist the Federal Protective Service with ongoing civil unrest in Portland. Hickey used his Twitter account, @TawasiSoce, to knowingly release personal information of these employees in an attempt to threaten, intimidate, or incite violence against them.

Eight people have been charged for alleged criminal conduct during a protest beginning July 25, 2020 and continuing into the early morning hours of July 26, 2020. Rebecca Gonzales-Mota, 37; Stephen O’Donnell, 65; Thomas Johnson, 33; Nathan Oderdonk-Snow, 21; Joshua Webb, 22; Pablo Avvacato, 26; and Doug Dean, 34, are charged with assaulting federal officers. Richard Lindstet, 33, is charged with operating a drone in restricted airspace.

22 Arrested, Facing Federal Charges After Weekend Protest at Federal Courthouse in Portland

I know that the state of Oregon failed to stop the federal officers in court due to "lack of standing" by the state, which makes sense.

However, it will be interesting to see exactly how these individuals charged will do in court under similar circumstances.  They definitely would have "standing" in court if they have grievances against the federal government over any possible mistreatment or false arrest.  No, I'm not saying that they have either, just that it would not be a reason to dismiss either of those claims.

We will see how this plays out.

In the face of Trump’s threats, the mayors of Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Denver, LA, San Jose, Oakland, Tucson, Sacramento, Phoenix and Kansas City just recently told the Feds to GTFO of our cities, or don’t come near us.

However, new research is finding that masks do in fact protect you from coronavirus, and they do so by reducing the viral load, which can lessen the severity of symptoms or keep the virus away altogether.

That's there for copyright purposes.  When citing an untitled photo, a detailed description of the photo is usually required.

I keep hearing Trump can't send federal agents to protect Federal Court Houses and federal properties.

Um, yeah he can.

40 U.S. Code CHAPTER 13—PUBLIC PROPERTY 1315

(a)In General.—
To the extent provided for by transfers made pursuant to the Homeland Security Act of 2002, the Secretary of Homeland Security (in this section referred to as the “Secretary”) shall protect the buildings, grounds, and property that are owned, occupied, or secured by the Federal Government (including any agency, instrumentality, or wholly owned or mixed-ownership corporation thereof) and the persons on the property.
(b)Officers and Agents.—
(1)Designation.— The Secretary may designate employees of the Department of Homeland Security, including employees transferred to the Department from the Office of the Federal Protective Service of the General Services Administration pursuant to the Homeland Security Act of 2002, as officers and agents for duty in connection with the protection of property owned or occupied by the Federal Government and persons on the property, including duty in areas outside the property to the extent necessary to protect the property and persons on the property.
(2)Powers.—While engaged in the performance of official duties, an officer or agent designated under this subsection may—
(A) enforce Federal laws and regulations for the protection of persons and property;
(B) carry firearms;
(C) make arrests without a warrant for any offense against the United States committed in the presence of the officer or agent or for any felony cognizable under the laws of the United States if the officer or agent has reasonable grounds to believe that the person to be arrested has committed or is committing a felony;
(D) serve warrants and subpoenas issued under the authority of the United States;
(E) conduct investigations, on and off the property in question, of offenses that may have been committed against property owned or occupied by the Federal Government or persons on the property; and
(F) carry out such other activities for the promotion of homeland security as the Secretary may prescribe.

I think this is where there are legitimate questions as to what is happening.

Nobody intelligent says he legally can't send in federal agents to protect courthouses, etc.

However, like Hayduke1 pointed out, the issue is regarding reasonable necessity in attacking protesters not engaged in such activities.

Furthermore, Trump is threatening to send federal agents to cities where no federal buildings are being attacked.

.....and here I thought the Republican party was all about state rights, political freedom, individualism,  autonomy, freedom of choice and association.   I guess not anymore under Trumpism.

Trump is bats#$t crazy.  He retweeted a bats#$t crazy idea from a group that includes a "doctor" with a supposed cure for Covid-19.  You guessed it, hydroxychloroquin. Or something like that.

https://news.yahoo.com/trump-shares-tweet-covid-misinformation-deleted-video-fauci-masks-125845165.html

One of the proponents is Dr. Stella Immanuel.  Here is more on her:

"Immanuel is also a minister, with sermons posted to YouTube. The description of one upload reads, “How long are we going to allow the gay agenda, secular humanism, Illuminati and the demonic New World Order to destroy our homes, families and the social fiber of America.” Immanuel has also claimed that some medical issues are caused by dream sex with demons and that alien DNA is currently being used in some medical treatments."

I'm pretty sure the cultists will find some way to try to justify this.  They are such crazy loyalists

LOL

Could you imagine if this dude was in Antifa?  Trump and his worshipers would lose their $hit.:D  But since he’s a white supremacist, its either a conspiracy or, meh, who cares.

Kinda like when those cops were murdered by far right-wing militants a month or so ago.  The response from conservatives?  Crickets.    Only Antifa, the darkies, and protesters are causing problems.
Racist bastards.
