MTU @ UND -- U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game

Recommended Posts

Interesting start for the Huskies this year at 3-3. Swept RMU away from home, got swept by Alaska at home and split with a ranked BGSU on the road.

All-in-all, this is a game we should and need to win.

Gotta sweep!!!! ;)

5-1 good guys.  Pinto, Bowen, Caufield, Gooch, Poolman.

Bast still out.

I’m guessing that’s related to the slash he took during Saturday’s Mankato game.  Skated off and didn’t come back.

Interested in line combos for Saturday. I think we should go this way:

29 Guchi - 18 Adams - 16 Mismash
11 Michaud - 22 Pinto - 8 Blaisdell
10 Hain - 19 Senden - 26 Smith
7 Yon - 14 Weatherby - 9 Bowen
28 Caulfield

6 Pooly - 24 JBD
3 Kierstad - 15 Frisch
17 Tychonick - 4 Peski

31 Scheel
1 Thome
35 Feeney

You nailed it.

8 needs a chance in a top 6 role IMO. Yon needs to get an opportunity if healthy.

For sure on Blaisdell. He's shown to glimpses of being really, really good. Need the consistency.

Sounds like Yon is for sure getting his shot and he definitely should. Excited for him. He's got plenty of skill.

Has to be hard to sit Keane though as he has been pretty good as of late.

Agree.  Keane could be your extra skater....no issue with that.

I like those, however there needs to be someone that buzzes on that top line.  The skill is there but there are super long stretches where they go unnoticeable.  Weatherby needs a shot at a top 6 role too.  Very noticeable one of the games last weekend.  Caulfield needs to play.

Definitely no problem with him playing over Judd. However, I put Judd in there because of his size. Seems like he's building into a nice power forward already.

Not last game! They were all over the place, especially Mash. I feel like that should and can be the new norm. Adams feels like he's turning into the pace/playmaking guy on that line.

The key to that top line is Guch. When he's good he's lights out. Problem is he has been invisible for much of the season so far. Last 10 minutes/OT on Friday and Saturday's game were his best minutes so far this season.
