The answer is that the SWAC and MEAC don't get autobids, so how can you take them away?

Hm, not sure why I thought they did.

And having space for two more autobids makes sense in case the SWAC and MEAC ever want to rejoin, or the Ivy decides to take part, or a new conference forms like the Great West almost did before being absorbed into the Big Sky.

With the WAC looking to add FCS teams, they too would eventually take one of the autobids. Lots of moving parts, but imagine a 32 team tournament if WAC, SWAC, MEAC and Ivies all decide they want the autobid.

Beau's offense, but in California not suburban Spokane. I see that working in his favor.

His disadvantage? Poly has to have higher academic requirements than he's used to at the FCS level.

This tells me the budget disparity between UND and Poly is significant.

Cal Poly has a massive endowment. Also the climate disparity is significant.

UND has a bigger endowment than Cal Poly.  But Poly gets much more from California annually than UND gets from ND.

It's UC-Davis endowment that is billions.

Today Crookston and St. Cloud State cut their football programs. St. Cloud also cut both men and women’s golf but added men’s soccer. The press release said they will encourage transfers....

Students were entered into the transfer portal... SCSU has a lovely new outdoor football field. The school will save $1.5 mil and has a $5 mil defect. Crookston offered budget reasons.... didn’t they drop football a few year ago and then reinstated it?

Don’t do it, that would be a demotion.

That money won’t feel like a demotion.

Stability is our trademark.   Who wants the hassle of hiring a new coach....much easier to have lifers nobody else considers.
