Johnny Gibson is the voice of the World of Oulaws.

From then on, Gibson grew to become a household name with Sprint Car fans, calling countless races, doing countless interviews, providing his voice for the 2002 World of Outlaws Sprint Car PlayStation game, working live broadcasts on national television and even calling iRacing events this year.

Here's what he had to say today about the race track in Grand Forks:

Bought my first snowmobile this summer.

Finally took it out on its maiden voyage.

I've never been much of a snowmobiler.

Maybe once or twice a year back in the early 2000s on a friends sled.

It's like a jet ski for the snow.

But a lot more dangerous the way I ride.

I've been riding since the 60's.
Way more speed that the water version.
I have two and move them back and forth between GF & DL throughout the winter.
The new models are so much more comfortable to ride than the initial sleds.

This has now become official.

He'll drive for Hendrick #5 car.

And he won the NASCAR race today at Vegas.

In just his fourth race since being back.

At the race track Ralph Engelstad himself once owned and developed.

That maiden voyage was basically its only voyage. Bad season for snowmobiling.

From John Wheeler:

The absence of snowstorms also contributed to the softness of the winter. Over the past 40 winters, only the winter of 2014-15 produced less snow in our region.

One of the more iconic Nascar tracks in racing, Bristol Motor Speedway, is adding a dirt race.

First time Nascar will run on dirt in over 50 years.

Gonna be fun. Don't miss out. This coming Sunday, March 28.

Maybe you've seen this awesome Levi LaVallee video:

He came out with a new one recently in Duluth:

Fun Fact: Levi met his future wife in Grand Forks at the Alerus while signing autographs for a snocross event.

Donny Schatz, the North Dakotan, who has dominated the World of Outlaws for the past decade, will run this Friday (7/9/2021) in Nascars truck series at the dirt track at Knoxville.

Interesting to see who is better thr guys who have more experience at the track or the guys who have more experience with the equipment.

That is sort of what the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) is doing. They have some racing legends all competing and they usually throw in a local ringer. It's only, I believe, six or seven races in total. Only a few races left. Saturday nights on CBS.

And Tony Stewart is the degree of separation. He runs in SRX. And Schatz drives for him in WoO.
