Exactly the point.  Thank you.  Although I question how excited NDSU was about giving a full ride to a preferred walk-on.

Since they had an extra one from the kid that flipped to KSU and they nailed down a QB for this class I would say they were happy.

Haven't read this one in the last week or so.  Catching up was fun!

Also, since it has been discussed in this thread.....

https://www.inforum.com/sports/football/961311-NDSU-former-Bison-football-player-disagree-on-who-supplied-supplement-that-likely-led-to-failed-drug-test#.XFIuw16u-3x.twitter

So either the kid is lying or NDSU is and they are calling him one. Wonder which party has more to lose and isn't telling the truth....?

Great value, too.

Seems to be pretty successful.

Is it the recruiting or the coaching staff supplying PEDs??

Your commitment to the bit is admirable.

A banned substance was used "throughout the lockerroom", according to the suspended player's Mom.

Your willful ignorance is admirable.

"Used throughout the locker room"  seems pretty damming.

I guess you failed to read the entire article when it says 18 players are randomly tested after each playoff game. Dont you think there would be more positive tests if it was indeed "used throughout the locker room"? 1 kid get tested positive and you guys instantly think every one does. Give me a damn break.

So are these PEDs only banned during the playoffs?

The team is tested numerous times during the years as well by the same testing agency.

LOL...internal testing.  How many guys have gotten caught/suspended over the years?

She’s using relative terms, not lying.

Same testing agency the NCAA uses for the playoffs.

There is no benefit for the kid to lie at this point. He is taking a big risk to lose many close friends on the team by coming out with this. The only reason to come out is because he feels he was wronged and that it wasn’t his fault. I would want to tell the truth too if it wasn’t my fault. NDSU staff screwed the kid out of his football career and takes zero fault. Now that’s an institution I want to be a part of!

Does it? How many is throughout the lockeroom then, precisely?

Throughout the lockeroom is a relative term that doesn’t give any real idea of the scale. It’s like saying “a lot of guys on the team”, how many is a lot?

His mother, Lori Robbins, said a “trusted program staff member” provided a pre-workout powder that contained an illegal substance or substances.

The university denies the supplement came from a staff member.

NDSU athletic director Matt Larsen said Robbins “got it from another student-athlete.” He didn't elaborate.

So are you saying this kid is lying that a staff member gave them to him? Why would a well known NDSU alum drag her alma mater through the mud like this if it wasn’t true.

They still gave it to him and that’s the main issue.

Why lie about that publicly?
