I honestly wouldn't be opposed to MTS Centre in Winnipeg again. I always enjoy taking weekend trips up there.

I might be a bit biased as a Manitoban, but I've always thought it would be cool for UND to host the Frozen Four at the MTS Centre, though it might not seat enough people. Maybe a regional would be more practical. I'd bet that Mark Chipman would be willing to help get that off the ground.

As cool as that would be, I don't see the NCAA allowing a Frozen Four, or even a regional, in a Canadian city.

I mentioned this before, Phoenix should of been the location for MN HoF game. Both U's have a ton of alumni there, fill a bigger arena.

How bad would it look for the Coyotes when a college game will far outdraw their NHL team.

UND v. Wisco - Outdoors.  Lambeau Field.  Book it.

To get after the popcorn skunks on hallowed wisconsin ground...that's just too much incentive.  Not to mention the tailgating.

Well, I've watched football there in late December and froze my arse off.   That's hockey weather, and it would be great.

I like the Chicago idea.   Good rink options,  easy fly-in destination, a lot to do in town, and we've recruited from that area in the past.    Maybe fans would get a chance to see three former Sioux playing together for the other Hawks.

Not sure about Chicago.  Given their shooting statistics (guns, not pucks) over the past few years that is getting to be the place that I do not want to go.  I think they have close to 100 shootings every weekend.  Scary.

Chicago is like every other major city in North America - if you stay in the right part of town, you're likely to be just fine.

For example, Las Vegas has a higher rate of violent crime than Chicago, but I didn't hear of any incidents affecting UND fans.

Farce is right.  Most of the gun violence is south side and among gangs about drugs.  That's part of the pity--that people don't care as long as it's the other people who are getting killed.

I have a daughter who lives and works not far from Wrigley who feels completely safe (and walks to and from work, often at night).

i've watched it there in early december and once the marine layer burned off it was 70 degrees.  you don't want another Omaha type setup.

Game has to be played before Christmas. Jan, Feb., too much conference play. March is playoffs, league tournament, regionals. Lambeau is out as you couldn't play there til after NFL season, which is Jan-Feb. Chicago was fine. We were there for Frozen4 in 17. Great time. I like wearing shorts to a hockey game though. Think McFaddens would have us back?;)

Sounds like a dream come true! I think Oxbow would agree

Taz far more concerned about the mob of ladies, aggressors driven by animal lust, which accompanies my presence at any locale.

Go Sioux, Nashville Baybay!!

Here are five fun potential destination games:

San Diego - Valley View Casino Center (~13,000)

San Antonio - AT&T Center (~16,000)

Orlando - Amway Center (~17,000)

New Orleans - Smoothie King Center (~17,000)

San Francisco/San Jose - SAP Center (~17,500)

San Diego especially would be a fantastic choice due to the climate and venue size.
