I too want no part of Denver.  I hate to admit it but they are a solid, Frozen Four-built team and they have to goods to get to Chicago.

This reminds me of 2012 when UND won a big game over the Gophers in St. Paul only to have to face them a week later.

As for Duluth...hey...nobody, NOBODY beats us SIX TIMES in one season!!!

So what is the game plan to beat a team like Duluth?   hope for less dim officials?  goon it up better?

I'd say play like last night. Overall UND heavily outplayed them, minus 2 minutes at the beginning of the second. Officiating was awful. Some bad calls both ways, but some really bad ones hurt UND. Never seen Duluth take so many cheap shots though. We play like we did this weekend, we can beat anybody.

So do the same as last night and hope for the best?

Given that (IMO) this was the best, most complete, weekend of hockey that we have played all year. I wouldn't change much. Get shots to the net a little quicker, but that is about it.

Sad thing is chalk works perfect but they won't do it.

Denver bracket in Cincy

UMD bracket in Fargo

Harvard in Manchester

Minnesota in Providence

This avoids the unearned Providence home games but still has some close proximity teams in every regional so attendance should be reasonable.

"Unearned" home game for Providence?  The Friars have 1 less win than #1 seeds UMD and Minnesota.  What exactly did North Dakota do to "earn" a de facto home game other than submit the winning bid for it?

What has any team in this format ever done to "earn" a home tourney game???

UND..in Fargo

Providence in well Providence

UMtc in St. Paul

or almost every Boston team....ever.

It is what it is.

Only place to get a real neutral site is on the moon .......with No fans......

I don't disagree with you at all...how much more fun would higher seeded teams hosting lower seeded teams be?
