And if Portland St played Maine in a FCS play-off game at let's say a regional in Cincinnati, it would be at least half empty too.  Point made is that the NCAA is stupid playing hockey regionals at neutral based sites.  For some reason they're a little bit smarter about it when it comes to FCS football playoffs.

NCAA playoffs that don’t break even like FCS, Volleyball, Women’s basketball, soccer etc have home court advantages until later rounds.

Thats just the way it is.

According to the (very long) article in the Sunday Wichita paper....it appears Coach K can do no wrong.... K-State says they gained all the NDSU fans too....

Just like the Philadelphia Eagles gained legions of new fans when Carson Wentz became their QB and the Chicago Blackhawks are most every UND fan’s favorite NHL team thanks to Jonathan Toews...nothing to see here, move along.

Why didn’t someone put this man on Obama Care or world hunger?

So now they're Wyoming, K-State, NDSU, anybody that plays UND fans.....for the love of God.....

EWU will have to score in the 60's to win because NDSU will if they have to. Not saying NDSU will score 60 because they most likely won't have to, but they will if they have to. EWU's defense is not going to be able to stop NDSU.

EWU v. NDSU will be determined by who sets the tempo.

If, somehow (as in 10% chance of happening), EWU gets their track-meet tempo going they could simply race past NDSU. NDSU isn't used to playing from behind and surely not having to pass, a lot, playing catch-up. Possible? Yes. However ...

Much more likely is that NDSU plays a game that keeps the EWU defense on the field and wears them out. Meanwhile the EWU offense is watching from the sidelines and not establishing any rhythm.

Massey says EWU has a 1 in 6 chance (16%). I'd agree with that with most of that chance being tempo (see above) and the rest being NDSU having a rare, unexpected off day.

Massey could be right, but he had us wrong as far as getting in the NCAA's during the last week of regular season (most of us included). This could be a good match up. Bison are very strong against the run, but could be vulnerable against EWU's passing game? EWU's defense is going to be vulnerable to the running game.

Will SU contain EWU QB.  If he can move free he can make plays or find receivers down field.  I think this is match up is the best chance to beat the Bison.  Not likely but certainty possible.

EWU beat Maine (50-19) that knocked out Weber State which was on of two losses EWU had, the other being Wash St - also on the road. EWU was the last team to win the FCS (2010 season) before this run by our friends to the south.

NDSU didn’t happen to play any FBS teams, in fact they only played 4 games outside of the Manure Pit. That brings up a very interesting fact, which helps bring alumni back to Fargo for the games, and another reason why fans want so many home games. They go Home Depot shopping before the games: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Black-Kow-50-lb-Composted-Cow-Manure-BLKCOW/202287053 .  Can't live with out the stuff.

Jacksonville won two years ago.  EWU is winning with the backup QB.  He has improving every week.  I look forward to this game.  If EWU wins Bisonville will melt down losing a championship to the team that "STOLE" the semi from the turds in 2010.

James Madison U in Virginia ?   Eagles lost their longtime star quarterback Gubrud to injury early in the year, but Barriere has played brilliantly in relief.

The game will be Jabril Cox vs Barrier. Both incredible athletes. Should be fun to watch.

EWU vs NDSU will be determined by NDSU running all over EWU’s soft defense.

NDSU by multiple scores ...
