Opening Day, one of the best days of the year! Twins predictions?

I am going out on a limb and saying Twins are playoff bound in a wildcard spot.

Rocco seems like a great coach, pitching has theoretically improved, & Buxton had a great spring training

The Twins are the one team I always have irrational confidence in.   I'll guess 84 wins and miss WC by a few games.  I just hope after 40 games they are .500 or better to make the season more interesting.

Sports Illustrated has the Twins going 90-72 and then losing to the Yanks in the division series. They said the Twins lineup has been beefed up, and the rotation boasts surprising depth. The wins will pile up for them in the worst division in baseball

Opening day.....

The few hours of the year when there's still misplaced hope for minnesota sports.

How true!

Let’s see if they can keep us interested a little longer into this season

Berrios has been awesome, hope it is a sign of things to come.

Marwin with the clutch him to put them up 2-0

Best team ERA in baseball. Win a lot of games with that.

Magic number is 160.

I would say book it but might wait until the 135-140 range

Is Buxton really going to bat above .200 before August? That would make a difference, pitching has looked good early also.

Twins won again last night, despite Buxton's best efforts to take down the center field wall, which almost cost the Twins the game.

Berrios is getting closer to what Minnesota has lacked for years: A homegrown Ace!

We'll see how they handle the East coast swing, the Mets are no bargain right now while still healthy. Always good to beat KC though.

The schedule for April is rough.  Great start so far.

I just noticed the Phillies are 4-1 also, this road trip is not pretty.

Only because they haven’t played the Twins!  :)

I am enjoying while I can!!

This is one of those rare years when the Wild are actually out of contention BEFORE the Twins.
