I'm having a hard time figuring out if you are being serious or not. They were involved in an altercation with the police, they went to jail, one guy had to be pepper sprayed. What other option was there other than suspending them until they meet with the coach and president? He was referring to the school in Fargo where they didn't publicly discipline a group of football players who were arrested for putting false signatures on petitions. The Athletic Director at said school stated that they weren't going to discipline the players until "they had their day in court". Even after the players filed guilty pleas the athletic department didn't give them any kind of public punishments. Yet St. Cloud State could suspend 2 seniors during the playoffs. You both are correct...texted 2 of my good SU buddies in Fargo last night about these similar situations and basically got the incidents were apples to oranges from each one. He likely wouldn't have had to miss those, either, if his dad hadn't gone down to Fargo and drug him back to Munich by the short hairs. Easy to "suspend" someone that wasn't going to be there anyway. We know that Travis got nothing the first go around he had. What about this guy then? This was Travis's second resisting arrest charge and nothing happened the first time. You guys are the ones comparing what Beck did to a guy that has had multiple bar fights that the police needed pepper spray to break up. Like I said I have no issue with how the first minor was handled, the resisting charge was dropped. If Travis wanted to he could have beat the second resisting charge in court, he had a strong case. Was it the part where he was on camera going around the corner away from the cops while in handcuffs? Or the part when they asked him why he tried to get away he said that he wanted to get some fresh air?
