So southpaw is demanding only PC authors should now be approved for posting.

I never knew BigJolly.com was a source for NHL news, but we've seen how far you'll go to track down "important" information.

That includes getting trolled on other boards and then coming over here and posting things as proof.

Big Jolly is a Houston-based website that discusses Houston topics. An NHL board took it seriously, and not laid out jokes and complaints to demean it like you did.  The author was a former criminal justice professor who believes that this country should honor the rule of law and traditions, which you don’t according to your sympathy for Colin Koepernick.  Thought this board was supposed to be non political which you have ignored.  You infinite intelligence and morality advantage over this board is sadly showing.

The Avs- Kings outdoor game at AFA academy drew fan: 44,000.

But their experience was not great due to improper planning.

https://thednvr.com/nhl-forgets-fans-are-the-point-with-disastrous-stadium-series/

They never had half of the fans watching the puck at the same time.

Falcons and CC had over 7,000 fans yesterday.

Kansas City should be the next expansion city. Bring back the Scouts and the logo!

Seems like the same reason the original jets retired to the desert.

The Jets have been trying for years to pawn the AHL team to Thunder Bay, but their have been roadblocks:

Getting rid of the AHL team would make Winnipeg less saturated.

The Moose are the Jets' franchise?

Why Thunder Bay? Why not shop them to Saskatoon? Or Regina?

The AHL does not do good in Canada compared to major juniors.  St John and Thunder Bay don't have major juniors teams.

Correction: St John has a major juniors team.

The only other AHL teams in Canada are located near the parent NHL team for interest:  the Toronto Marlies and the Laval Rocket for Montreal.  That's 3 out of 31 AHL teams.  Bizarrely, Canada just doesn't consider the AHL to be Canadian enough.

An AHL team is probably way too much for Grand Forks, as it would suck money and fans from UND.  Fargo would seem a possibility, if the USHL team leave, but their arena is on the small side..

The old Jets never had to deal with AHL and WHL teams taking sports revenue out of the economy.

Amazon has won the naming rights for the renovated Key Arena. The new name will be Climate Pledge Arena. Yeah.

That's better then the 'Bezos Barn'.

This is dancing the line of politics.

Imagine saying if Brits or Somalis or Peruvians stopped by.

No further. Thank you.

Going back to that Jets article, I started to laugh at this quote:

"Have you ever gone to Toronto and watched a Leafs game one night and a Raptors game the next? Same building, totally different beast in terms of how much entertainment drives the NBA.

"Hockey is saying we've got a million corporate tickets sold and we don't really care as much."

I don't think it's a hockey does not care issue.  When you go to a hockey game the game is the entertainment, the game is the product.  I read those quotes as an indictment of the NBA's product.  When you go to an NBA game the clubs know the actual product is boring so they are forced to keep you entertained with a bunch of gimmicky crap to make it an "experience".  Now tell me, which game has the problem here?  Hockey or basketball?

ETA:  Oh, and if Winnipeg is "soft" because 1,500 tickets are available the day of the game on the secondary market, you know, tickets that have already been sold, then how freaking soft is Florida and Arizona?  If there is concern for Winnipeg then there should be an absolute 5-alarm fire level of concern for those other two franchises because those buildings are EMPTY.
