SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2013 Author Share Posted September 29, 2013 IMPRESSIVE win tonight, this team has gotten a lot better from last year and it has shown. Tonight unsung hero was #2 Thompson, she was to disrupt a lot of ISU attacks with her big body, which was not that easy given the length of ISU. We needed that win to prove that we can content, tonight we got it. 4-0 start in conference is a big time boost. Usual suspects in Munkeby, Parlich and Robinson having nice games. Pioske is an absolute stud as a freshman, she could be winning a lot of Big Sky honors when her career is all said and done. Can't rave enough about Thompson and her game tonight as well. Crowd was very good and did get into it. Entire coaching staff needs big time props, and somebody needs to get Coach Brown a new Molton clipboard stat!!! While that was fun, they cannot afford a let down for Monday. Losing to NDSU is not acceptable and would knock a lot of the wind out of the sails. I don't care if they are 1-12, they will come to play. We will be favored and need to play like the favored team. After that, huge game next weekend against UNC. If we can approach 3000 fans, there a good chance UND can average 1500 fans and be in the top 25 in attendance. It would pay dividends in recruiting and even in possible NCAA bids. Wonder what is going on there? Montana is a nice surprise, already 2-2 in conference. They did play us pretty tough in their place and could see them fight for a playoff spot in the tourney.
