Siouxperman8 Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 Watched Quinton Hooker play last week in the Howard Pulley Pro Am league. Royce White and Siyani Chambers (freshman of the year in the Ivy League and first team all conference) were on his team. Most, if not all, of the other players on both teams had college or pro experience at some level. Hooker played a secondary role with the more experienced players in the game but he definitely held his own. He made a few 3 pointers and they were playing NBA rules and 3 point distance. Would rather see a mix of JC / HS players anyway, just to avoid a repeat of needing to replace half the team doesn't recur in four years. His Valor Christian team finished 22-5 last year and finished 2nd in CO's 4A state tourney. All five of their starters were juniors so they should be very good again this upcoming year. Foster averaged 16.8 as a sophomore and 19.7 last year. He has offers from CO, Montana St, San Fran and Wyoming. He wants to major in business and he is the president of an investment club. G Vince Fritz, 6'2" from Overland Park (Blue Valley NW), KS is to visit one of the next two weekends. I do not know if we have offered either of these kids.
