These young guys got too worked up over the whole weekend sioux/gopher thing & have not learned to Hate the Goophers yet & thus, want to stomp them back into their holes. But maybe now they understand ? ? ?

OK several yrs ago - In fact the year Hrkacs & Joyce & Johnson & Eddie Etc. were here & we won the National Championship. My wife & I went to San Fransisco that next winter & we were riding the cable cars & ask the conductor where the Hard Rock Cafe was & he said at the end of his line, about a block down - another couple heard us & decided to walk down there with us. As we got inside they ask where were from & we say ND - the gal got all excited & said I'm from ND. We then say GF & she says yes, me too !!! - she was living in Santa Clara Calif. & was just up for the weekend. - As we were talking, the bartender on the other side of the bar kept moving closer & finally asks if were talking about ND - We say yes & he says I'm from Oslo Minn & he went to UND - He imediately ask about the Sioux Hockey Team & we say we have season tickets. - So here we are in downtown San Fransisco at the Hard Rock Cafe having a mini reunion
We find out the gal is a niece of my neighbor & I know the whole family & her Dad & (all her uncles) so she writes them all notes, on napkins from the HRC & we take em home & deliver them to them. ---Talk about small world -
I hear Minn (if they win - for after this weekend ) - has rented the same boat for their Hockey Team - that the Vikings used - so they can turn their season around too......It worked for the Vikings

but I know someone, with two tickets for both nights, behind the sioux on offense end (south end) behind the goalie - that ask me how much they could go for ? He may even take other tickets on trade in ?

Maybe but I think we have 5 or 6 or more, that are better than he is

If you can call a press conference ---someone might believe thatPlease. Lots of guys can play defense, but few can score. The Gophers have many problems, Kessel is not anywhere near the top of that list.You poor guys sure hyped the Kid as the savior of Goopher hockey - now he is not on top of the list as the problem
We will see if Kessel is ready for the Big Time this weekend

I have always been kinda hard on Stafford - Cause he is so good - I take him for granted - Plus he came in with lots of fanfare & expections - I have always been waiting for him to bloom or blossom or Bust out & become one of the best of the Best to ever play for the Sioux - It's in there waiting to happen ...? ? ?
